"A clean no frills b&b in an excellent location." - mark hopkinson
"Perfectly situated in Lisbon centre between Alfama and Barrio with nice restaurants and little traffic. Lousy breakfast." - Andreas Hoffsten
"The hotel is one step above a hostel, but it's clean enough and it located EXACTLY where you want to stay as a tourist in Lisbon. It is in the center of the large pedestrian-only area, in easy walking distance of a number of major tourist spots, and less than a minute from Lisbon's great subway system.
Breakfast is passable, but not great. It's cereal (with warm milk) and pretty good buns with jam. No toaster. No internet. The phone is expensive to use, and they charge for the safe key.
We stayed in a shared facilities room. There was one toilet, as well as one shower in a separate room. They were clean, and we never had trouble with other people using them at the same time. " - Jesse Guss
"The two most attractive features of this hotel are location and price. It is situated in the middle of all of Lisbon's hotspots. It is right in the middle of the shopping district in Baixa/Chiado; one block from tourist information kiosk, two blocks away from the metro, four blocks from either Rossio or Praca Commercio, and a few blocks from another hotspot/nightlife central of Lisbon called Barrio Alto. I got a room on the fourth floor with a small balcony that had a breathtaking view of the St. George's castle. The hotel was reasonably clean. Overall, it was a great deal for the price paid.
Tip: Make sure you book well ahead (at least a month or more before your stay), especially during the peak summer season. " - Raj Dasgupta
