Getting there:Once you are out of the Airport area take the road C-32B direction to Barcelona. Take the Autovía of Castelldefels C-32 direction to Barcelona. Take the exit Ronda Litoral (B-10). Exit number 21 Ciutat Vella direction Columbus Monument. Take the traffic roundabout, turn on your right direction Paseo Colón and continue until Paseo Isabel II on the right lane. Turn on your right in Pla de Palau, go around the square and turn on your left direction Columbus Monument to come back the hotel.

Staff at reception were really good - very helpful and friendly. The only criticism I have is about the food available at the bar upstairs. Given the wonderful food we had had in Barcelona, the choice was limited. Also, when we went up, there were no staff there and we had to go back down to the front desk to check
Small quality hotel with very good customer service. A personal touch and good location only round the corner from Las Ramblas and across the road from the marina. Marina is well worth a visit. It has a good indoor shopping centre and eating places.
The hotel is in an excellent location and service is very friendly. Book a room with a view of the port.

It was disappointing to find that our room was very tiny and dark with a double bed when we had requested twin beds. We arranged an upgrade to a junior suite which was satisfactory. On the whole the staff were very helpful and did their best for us. Overall the hotel was lovely and we enjoyed our stay there.
Stayed during the Merce (Ferstival of Barcelona) end of Sept 07. Hotel is ACE, brakfast is good. Sipping cocktails on the roof terrace watching the sun go down over the Marina is a must do. Great location, will look this up again if I am in Barcelona.

We had a great stay in this hotel, its in the most perfect location and the staff are so helpful!! I found the room safe so useful, tho only draw-back is the swimming pool is tiny and not heated. Otherwise its a great hotel!
Recently renovated. The position is very good just a few minutes walk from the Colombus monument at the beginning of la Rambla and close to the waterfront. Hotel Restaurant was not available. Our room lacked a hotel facilities brochure. Bathroom was very new and there was plenty of space. Robes and slippers were provided. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.
Lovely historic hotel in a location central to the ports, the Rambles and the Bari Gothic...close to cruise terminal so excellent for overnighting before or after a cruise. Lots of little special touches and a staff that goes the EXTRA mile in service!! Enjoy the great view and the gentle breezes off the Med on the breathtaking roof terrace.
Really good but was hoping for a little snazzier given its excellent reputation, but a solid hotel nonetheless.
The hotel is in an excellent location being close both to the old town and the waterfront with a good choice of restaurants nearby. The facilities for a city break are fine and the staff were both helpful and friendly.
We loved the hotel! It is small and charming; tastefully decorated and very conveniently located. We loved the Gothic Quarter and the narrow alleyways leading off from the hotel. We would definitely recommend it:

I would have no issue about recommending this hotel - its very clean, has friendly staff, in a good location just off Rambla. The dining room is lovely. The bedrooms are nice. I imagine the roof terrace is lovely in the summer. It's worth a visit!
Efficient, responsive staff which works well for business or pleasure traveler-limited internet access.. Hotel tries hard to please, good breakfast-just off the Ramblas, near to transportation and very walkable to many tourist attractions and restaurants
Good position for Las Ramblas, Gothic quarter and Las Ramblas de mar. Make a trip to the 6th floor sun and pool area, great views.
Excellent location looking out onto the Marina at Port Vell. Rooms were well equipped and well serviced. Roof Terrace excellent.
