Hotel located at nice beach. Room was clean and big. The bathroom looked a bit old. Staff was very friendly. Overall the value for price is very good.
Thank you to [website] for providing this feedback mechanisme. It is very helpful, especially if it is transparent to all customers of [website] and not only report-the-good-news 1. Quick response if you are lucky to have someone respond to you. Very friendly. 2. DIY if you are unlucky to have a forgetful staff answering your call. 3. Be careful of the restaurant which doesn't provide any bill and open his hand to collect cash from you after your meal. Customer is fine, but it may be a loss to the resort right? More proper system is necessary. 4. I will give 2 thumbs up if more facilities there are maintained and upgraded... overall, I had a good rest there...
The service is quite good, but the hotel maintenance is to be improved. The toilet is smelly, the door is a bit old.
A good cheap place to stay, appeared to be a little on the rundown side but we enjoyed our stay there. The restaurant had lovely meals but we felt we were intruding when we approached for a meal. There was no book in our room to explain the facilities. The swimming pool was a great place to cool down. Sunday Bar, by the beach, was a lovley way to end the evening.
The Hotel restaurant is heavily infested by houseflies and the room with mosquitoes.
You must absolutely have a chalet and not one of the rooms in the main building. The price is the same: very cheap. Don't expect luxury resort facilities though! If you think of the chalet (with full hotel service and working air co) as a lodge, you will be very happy. It is kept surprisingly clean. Nice pool. The location is superb, very quiet, under the trees on a sandy beach. Have a drink at the "Sunday Bar", kept by a French chap with good English. The only setback is the food. Breakfast must be all right for Malaysians but the only concession to western ways is a doubtful piece of toast. Have coffee or tea in your room (both are complimentary) and buy breakfast biscuits in Kuantan. The buffet is so so, a la carte unthinkable. Luckily there are plenty of local eating places nearby, I recommend the food court "Restoran Alif".
