"Although the hostel was located conveniently to the city centre, the noise from the traffic and rooms next door was intrusive.
The hostel was also very over priced for the facilities and comfort.
Shower had to be hand held as the wall fixing was broken, bed frames noisy and were twin even though double had been booked.

"A bit hard to find and no parking at the hotel...Garage parking near by..30 euros for 24 hours...not bad for a city centre...Near metro.Would use again for a cheap time in Barcelona." - david holder

"D'Uxelles is in a good location - easy walk to the main La Rambles street and restaurants but that is about all it had going for it. The rooms need some work as our shower head was broken in 2 rooms we had. The room was on a main road on the 2nd level and it was very noisey with all the passing traffic. The reception staff do not speak very good English so you need to come prepared with all your own maps and information. Like everything you get what you pay for. It was cheap & clean & in a good location." - Simone Harnden
