"This is a superb location, up in the hills of Hunter Valley. The layout is spacious, with plenty of room both within each chalet and between adjacent units. There are wilderness walks and plenty of wild life to appreciate. The general facilities are appropriate for the size and location. With each unit, there is an outdoor spa and (in ours at least) no less than three barbecues! If you like the idea of kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and numerous brightly-coloured birds almost within arm's reach, this is the place for you. "A very good, quiet retreat. You need to use your car to get around the resort as the lodges are well spread out for privacy. The restaurant is very good, although the menu can be a bit limited if you are staying for a week. All lodges have cooking facilities for a night in. Excellent walking trails for the able bodied, and golf carts for the less able. Individual SPAs are permanently hot at your lodge. Highly recommended." - Graham Macausland
