"The standard of accommodation was excellent and the facilities* in the hotel provided everything that was needed. *The restaurant is closed at the weekend (this is made clear when booking) but teh snack alternative provided was good enough. I woudl certainly stay there again." - Anonymous
"The only downside is lack of any catering other than breakfast at weekends. Mind you the breakfast buffet is so extensive lunch is not needed and there is good Pub Grub on offer for dinner within 1 mile of the Hall. In every other respect it is the pefect place for business or vacation travellers visiting the Nottingham/ Derby area. The staff are real people who are friendly and very helpful. It is a Conference Centre and not a hotel but this just adds to the range of facilities on offer. For weekend entertainment gatecrashing one of the frequent post wedding discos is recommened!!!! Travelling on the M1 from the South: Leave the M1 at junction 26 taking the first exit signed A610 Ripley. Follow this road passing the first sign for Eastwood and IKEA and leave this road at the next junction signed Eastwood and DH Lawrence birthplace.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit signed for Eastwood (B & Q is on your right). Follow the road passing Safeway Supermarket on your left. Stay in the left-hand lane and go straight ahead at the traffic lights onto Mansfield Road. The entrance to Eastwood Hall is on your left. Eastwood Hall is 5 miles and 5 minutes from Junction 26. |
