Can't comment on the motel itself as I was upgraded into the nearby apartments. Having stayed at the apartments, they are quite reasonable value.
Great value and location. Room includes double and single bed, private ensuite with shower and tea & coffee facilities. Rates are based on 2 adults with a maximum of 3 adults, additional adult stays at extra $15 per night.
Great value and location. Room includes double bed, private ensuite with shower and tea & coffee facilities. Price is for 2 people with a Max of 2 people.

We were extremely satisfied with our 4 night stay. Very good ratings for location, facilities, cleanliness, friendly helpful staff and the cost of accommodation. We will definitely stay again.
Great property, friendly, convenient location and good value for money, would recommend it for familys, groups or as a couple!
A room with metal bunks and a bare wood floor is only moderate back-packer standard and in this case over-priced.
We enjoyed the short walk from the beach to the The Easystay Bayside Motel, excellent!!!! Loads of places to eat along Fitzroy street. We chose a room at the rear as the testimonials stated that this was quieter than on Fitzroy street side, however at 5.30am a huge garbage truck entered the rear carpark and made a heap of noise, people 4 doors down were also woken by it!! I found the timber venetians did NOT block out the light which flooded in day and night. Curtains would have felt a lot more private. But enjoyed the rear balcony's positioned around with seats and tables, and ashtrays. It was a little shocking to read in bathroom a 50lt tank so wait 20mins inbetween showers if water cold! So be aware and allow time for this. Basic but good.
Only stayed the one night thank goodness. Had virtually no sleep. The room was very basic and in desperate need of upgrading! The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the location is good.
The room was terribly noisy, we had about an hours sleep for the night!
Cheap no frills, close to everything.
It was very, very noisy - people, traffic, etc. But still worth it for the location. Take earplugs!
Excellent location, close to the city , MCG, and Crown plaza, and all transport. All the basics of a room are covered and at the end of the day you dont visit places to live in the room each day, so as long as the basics are covered which this is , than you have a bargain.
A little "rough around the edges" as it's an old motel but more than made up for by the friendly staff, information available and the great location. Great for families on a budget.
Make sure you get a room at the back and not the front as the noise on that road is ridiculous at night. The rooms are clean and very spacious. They are like chalets, so you have a front door and a window to a walkway/balcony that you have people passing by when they are leaving. No WiFI though, its connected through the phone, wasnt too pleased about that. Great Location, 2/3 minutes from the beach & the main St Kilda street. Nice eateries and internet facilities next door.
Very noisy (until 3am) street front location although convenient for cafes, beach....etc. Air conditioning was on but had no impact, on hot summer nights room was unbearably hot making sleep almost impossible.
They didn't give us tea and coffee and never cleaned the room - even when we complained. Beds unmade and dirty towels left on floor every day. Didn't even empty bin properly, same bag still in bin and just tipped out!
Good location and helpful staff. Especially Nigel. He's a champ. Back rooms are quieter than from on fitzroy st.
Excellent location,reasonably priced,highly rated.
Right in the middle of great budget eating places, supermarkets etc.;my budget very strict. Room- basic, clean, not big-entirely adequate. Bathroom satisfyingly clean, too. Great advantage-being right in the middle of St Kilda's public transport-walk out of Reception, cross to the middle of the road-you're on the tram stop. Reception information - friendly and great. The guy on Reception said "Ask me anything about the area and how to get there--I'll probably know it." He did!-even printed travel directions when I needed to get to specific places in various suburbs, &had to use trams, trains and buses. One downside-no access to a microwave oven in the room-had to go downstairs to heat my Cocoa. One other downside was having to walk up two flights of stairs with my luggage. All the rooms are up-the entry just a doorway between shops. Asked for a room on the quiet side (away from Fitzroy St), and was very glad I did. A great place as a jumping-off point for everything else.
The front of the Hotel is in Fitzroy street, a very trendy but noisy enviroment with drinking, singing and rowdy behaviour after sunset. Police cars are parked to keep order. The hotel itself, from the rooms facing the carpark are basic, quiet and comfortable, clean and have all you need including TV, fridge, coffee making facilities, DIYc offee, tea & milk supplied Linen is changed either once a week or if you pay $A25 extra. Heaters and aircondition works well. a VERY convenient location near St Kilda beach at a reasonable price. I would stay there again.
The Motel was very convenient for our needs. It was clean and tidy. Heowver, on Friday and Saturday nights the people and traffic noise is a bit loud and disturbing.
