Gypsy wagon unit- 2nt
Constructed with guidance form Heritage Victoria, the wagons are a unique reproduction of travelling gyspy wagons in the late 19th century. Historical accuracy however does not stand in the way of 21st century comforts though.
Ascend the stairs to your own private kitchenette/dining/entertainment area. Follow through to the separate bedroom with "Grandma's high bed", richly decorated in velvet, lace and brocades. A full ensuite and reverse cycle air conditioning for your additional comfort.
Ideal for a romantic getaway couple.

Located within the host's home (but separate and with own private entry), the guesthouse comprises 2 interconnected double bedded ensuite rooms, each meticulously decorated in hand painted Australian wildflower themes.
Each bedroom has its own balcony with views into the garden below.
A kitchenette is provided with the option of dining on one of the sheletered baclonies or the water gardens below.

Cottage - 2nt
The self contained cottage is a lovingly restored 140yr old Victorian timber cutters dwelling.
Enter through the parlour. The richly decorated furnishings compliment the high pressed metal ceilings, open fire and polished floors, leading to the adjoining dining room.
The 3 bedrooms (2@4 person bunks plus small double) run off the central hallway between the fully equiped kitchen and the 2 bathrooms. Exit to your own private backyard with bar-b-que.
Operating as a 10 bed YHA Hostel, it can be booked for exclusive use by families and small groups operating on a budget. All linen supplied-self service of rooms.
Price based on 6 persons sharing(4 adults, 2 chidren). Additonal persons, please phone Echuca Gardens directly.

Choose between the Heritage Victoria approved gypsy wagons (2 persons), guesthouse (4 persons) or the 140yr old fully restored woodcutters cottage (6-10 persons). Each are surrounded by magnificent private water gardens and historic murals painted by the resident host.
The property is centrally located, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and adjoining 1400 acres of state forest. The Murray River, historic port, town centre, tourist attractions and restaurants are a pleasant walk away through the forest.

From Melbourne, take the Hume Freeway and then turn off onto the Northern Highway, following the signs to Echuca.
Upon arrival in Echuca turn left at the first set oftraffic lights and follow the "Town Centre" signs. At the second set of traffic lights (where thereis a water tower), turn right and head east,over the railway line and fourth street after, turn left - Mitchell Street. The property is at the end of the cul-de-sac on the left. |
