Econo Lodge Near Lax Los Angeles

My original room's television didn't work so I talked to the front office and they upgraded me from my queen non-smoking to a king non-smoking. I must say that the bathroom in the king bedroom was twice the size of the queen's bathroom - very spacious. The wifi worked perfectly and of course the television as well. I also requested a refridgerator which was brought to the room shortly after. The staff is very courteous and service was fast and simple.

Our experience was good. The "breakfast" was juice, coffe, and donuts, as we found usual in a number of motels that we used.

The people is a bit too serious, more smile should be shown and be more friendly and advise us if we need help. if they can provide a list of places where they recommend us to go, we would feel more welcome to USA.

bathroom was dirty dead flies in bathtub. dirty water in toilet. towels didn't seem clean. no soap/shampoo etc ice machine was out of order. no juice@ breakfast. shuttle took about 45mins to collect me from airport & was about 20mins late to bring me to the airport!!

Great hotel if you have to stay a night in LA and arrive late and leave early. Very basic accomodation but well priced and clean with the bonus of a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.

Big room with everything you need, but the breakfast was VERY basic (instant coffee & 'fresh' donuts). I hate having to talk to a receptionist who is behind a glass screen. Location is convenient if you just want somewhere to stay near te airport, but it isn't the flashest of neighbourhoods, hence the glass panel at reception & signs telling street people to keep out of the stairwells at night.

It is what it is a sheap good value for money motel close to LAX. we have stayed there on a few occasions. the bed was firm but we got a good nights sleep I loved watching the planes we were in the middle of 2 flight paths. location was good. needed to work hard to get the staff to smile but what do you want for the price. I would stay again as it is good value

Ok place to stay for one night while in LA. Close to airport. Shuttle service is free and convenient. SHuttle was on time.

Very cheap hotel, located only minutes from LAX in an area known for its colourfull neighbourhood. Rooms clean and adaquate. You get what you pay for, service is poor and generally unfriendly, but the rooms good for the price. I'd only recommend this hotel if your looking for a bed and bathroom for a night or two close to LAX. Breakfast described in advertising is misleading, at best its a small plastic cup of coffee with a doughnut in reception area. If your looking for a cheap room with basic amenities, this is good. If your looking to be pampered, this isnt the hotel for you.

The furniture is quite old. No coffee maker. Luckily my room has microwave and the hotel guy borrow me a bowl for boiling water using the microwave. The guy assist me during check-in is helpful and patience. The lady I meet when I'm check-out is rude; when I ask her, I had book a shuttle service at 9am....(before I can finish) She just reply, "yeah I know, go outside and wait." The lift is dark at night. Good for staying 1 night to be close to LAX. Not good for single lady. As a lady, I'm quite scare to go out during night. I had my dinner in the room (having instant cup) breakfast is simple. 1 bread 1 coffee.

the stay at the econolodge for the week was okay i felt very safe and the location was great they had wireless service and the maids came through to clean on a daily basis i always had good clean linen and i would stay there again in the future. the location was right in the middle of every thing and i fits my budget perfectly

The rooms were very clean, although there were no facilities to boil water to make a cup of tea or coffee, or a fridge. I was travelling by myself and only staying overnight, so i did not venture outside as the neighbour looked quiet intimadating. The bus driver could give a little more information as to where i could get something to eat and drink. Overall it was clean and tidy but not a place to stay in if you are travelling solo and female

Very spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Free Internet. Excellent value for money.

Very helpful service from chap in lobby, including luggage storage facilities (without which we would not have been able to take a trip out) and provision of a kettle. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although furniture could do with some maintenance. Fridge worked. No problems.

I am disappointed with the breakfast currently being provided.

Barebones but functional. If you are only interested in a clean bed and hot shower, this will suit the bill. Nothing to offer in the way of neighboring stores/food. Very close to LAX but felt it was a little too far "off the beaten path" for my comfort level.

Had to wait 20 mins for hotel shuttle and then 15 mins to check in, which is too long. Room was very clean and served my one night purpose well. On flight path so a little noisy at times but that did not bother me. Doughnuts in the morning were stale but coffee good. I would stay there again for a night travelling through

If you are looking for a cheap clean place this is fine. Quality is not part of the deal, but the convience to the airport and free shtuule are a plus for this place.
