Economy Hotel is a small, cozy tourist-class hotel on the edge of Tallinns Old Town. Our hotel was built at the end of the 19th century, when it was named the Grand Hotel - one of the first of its kind in Tallinn. The building miraculously survived the bombardment of March 9, 1944, when 53% of the residential areas of Tallinn were destroyed. Hotel was last fully renovated in 2003.

Getting there:From the airport you can reach us by bus No 2 until stop "A.Laikmaa" and change to tram No 1 or 2. Ride 4 stops and exit in stop "Balti jaam". Now you can see our hotel across the street.

This is a very nice hotel and much, more more than you could expect for this price! It is very close to the Old town and for this price really a very good deal!
The hotel was very close to the centre of things with lovely restuarants within minutes, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable, with everything you needed in the en-suite and internet access in the lobby.

A rather simple hotel with a vewry good location and excellently helpful staff. The only minus was that the heating system broke down, so we didn't have heating in the room all the time.
I've booked it for 4 days over ratestogo.com. When I arrived i've been noticed that they had not my reservation and said that they didn't have a free appartment. After a long call with the manager I had been given a room but for 3 days. I'd like to recieve a compensation for that situation. Either i'll be claming ratestogo as 'unsuitable place to book Hotel appartments'.
50m from old town and have a private parking with lock - that's good. breakfast is poor, but to have for a short brake or shot is ok! economy means economy and do not expect something more. but the hotel is clean and useful.
Economy Hotel Tallin was a great surprise for me, my colleagues and students. Despite the fact that the rooms are tiny with tiny bathrooms, we had everything we needed in a hotel; refreshing shower, restful staying, cleanliness and undisturbed sleep. From my big and comfortable bed watching my favourite TV channel was really enjoyable. We had internet access and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All this for really reasonable price! Besides, this lovely hotel, with a very friendly staff, is in the heart of the old city.
even though the hotel has changed name and my booking seemed not to have gone through, the receptionist was really helpful and positive and accommodated me quickly when arrived 1am. its recently renovated, had tv in the room with lots of channels and 20-30min walk to the centre. theres also free car park for those who have or rent a car.
Good cheap hotel for short stay. Nothing bad to say about breakfast or cleanliness. The only problem are drunkards around the hotel and its car parking area. They should keep their area clean of these people.
