Hotel Eden is very quiet and comfortable, situated in the Corte del Volto Santo. Here in the 14Th century the Lucca's traders use to meet, who were the first to import the art of silk working of Venice, infact the image of the Volto Santo is impressed upon the well which you find in the center of the campiello, and it is worshipped in Lucca's Cathedral. Getting there:It easy to reach us from Piazzale Roma or from St.Lucia's railways station by a quiete walk of about 10 minutes towards Strada Nuova. If you take the public water bus Nr.1 and get off of the stop of S.Marcuola. From International airport "Marco Polo" it's possible to arrive in Venice by bus or taxi. It's possible also to take a private water taxi or a waterbus shuttle called "Alilaguna" from the airport to the hotel.

We payed 60Euros for a double room at Eden, which was a really good price. The hotel is excellent. I strongly recommend it!
The location is convenient to the train station and vaporetto stop. There is also a supermarket and laundry close by which is great if you have been travelling for a while.
I had a single room but it was very small. I couldn't have the wardrobe door open at the same time as the bathroom door. Very small but excellent location and not too far from the main station. Very freindly staff but isnt that always the case in wonderful Italy.
Good size room and bath, clean and quiet. Breakfast OK.
The Eden Hotel was excellent for the price, sure the room was a little small but I did expect this. The Location is fantastic. I did find it a little hard to find as is the norm in Venice but this was my fault as I got off a at the wrong water stop. Go to the S.Marcuola water stop near The Casino and go north, when in Tera S.Leonardo turn right and before you cross the footbridge take a left and you will see The Hotel. The important thing is to find the Casino while on S.Leonardo then you know you are very near. Richard P. Ireland.

Really hard to find - get off at San Marcuola Vaporetto stop and walk up to the main road, it's on your left. But worth it once you get there, breakfast is good, service excellent, location excellent. Close to all main sights and a nice safe walking area.
A very nice hotel and in a very good location. Reception and other staff were very polite and attentive. The room was a little on the small side which didn't matter too much because we were only there for one night but any longer would have been a little difficult. Hotel was very difficult to find because the road name is not on tha maps, and the given map is totally wrong. Follow east down Rio Tera S. Leonardo - Campiello D Anconetta, over bridge and its in an alley on the left. Better still, get river bus to stop S. Marcuola on Grand Canal and it's just north from there.
Convenient location to the train station and the attractions. Good hotel with excellent breakfast. Downside - no elevator in hotel and air-conditioner unit is quite noisy if needed overnight.
Very friendly staff, within easy walking distance of train station. It sits back off the street, so is difficult to find.
