This hotel is a great place to unwind. Situated lakeside, it lies beside a beautiful walking path that promises memorable views and walks. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and well equipped. The hotel provides mountain bikes for rent and has tennis courts and very pleasant grounds.

A beautiful hotel overlooking the lake. Spacious rooms with modern furnishings. Friendly staff. Two improvements only - better coffee needed in the breakfast room and how about moving this room so it overlooks the lake? Just a suggestion!

it's slightly further to queenstown city compared to the other offerings, but this place is great!

Loved it. In spite of catering to tour groups, it had a private feeling. We were upgraded to suite with private washing machine and view of the lake. Nice to be able to cook during several weeks of traveling. The coffee shop was quite good, also, if the 30 minute walk to town is too long. A very relaxing stay.

On arrival, we were given a very pleasant welcome but this was not matched by breakfast staff who were indifferent. The lakeside room had a wonderful view over Lake Wanaka and easy access to the lakeshore walkway was great. We would definitley stay again.

Will definitely stay again when visiting Wanaka.................

We stayed here over New Year and it was wonderful. We had a beautiful room overlooking the lake, it was lovely. I would recommend this hotel to people looking for a quite spot where they can do as much or as little as they like. I will be staying again.

Third time have stayed here, over last 6 years, always excellent - great location for nice walk around the lake into town.

very well located: lovely view and a pleasant half hour walk along the lack to the great selection of places to eat that Wanaka has to offer. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

A good class hotel,well serviced,in an excellent location.Dining organisation somewhat erratic,but pleasant.

A nice resort, but more suited for long stayers to enjoy the facilities that are on offer. Price for the room was a little expensive, and the location is quite a walk from the town centre around the lake. However, the room had a nice view of the centre pond with a couple of ducks quacking at the door, and the lake was only a minute away for an afternoon walk.

Comfortable hotel, very welcoming staff and in an excellent location. Short walk along beautiful lakeside to the small town. Take a torch if you intend to return that way though rather than via the main streets. Room was clean and of a good size, with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The downside was having to carry our cases up a narrow flight of steps to our room but the view from our balcony was worth it!

Hotel is in a lovely position and very convenient for travellers. A little hard to find if you are a newcomer to the area.

Situated overlooking the beautiful lake, all the rooms have a lake view. We only stayed one night there but the view was beautiful. A walk along the lake shore takes you into the town. Good quiz night at the Irish bar and lovely food.

A great place for those who like self catering. Well equipped, spacious units, lovely views, super location. We have stayed here twice and will do so again as soon as we can.
