Edmondstone Motel Brisbane

A very welcoming, friendly, clean and adequate accommodation in the heart of South Bank. Will certainly stay again - comfy beds, good to have own kitchenette, no breakfast but plenty of local food - and a very hospitable staff.

Handy to the convention centre, and has free car parking. Rooms are pretty small. Outside patios are nice - but mine was shared with other units (and used by smokers). Bring a bike helmut if you want to use the handily located bike station.

Very neat rooms. Loved my stay. Effortless booking on line. I needed to change my booking and was very pleasant experience. One phone call and all was fixed. Great

I loike staying at the Edmondstone as it is small, great location and the family that run it are lovely. They care and will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

We went to see a band @ the HiFi. The hotel was a short walk from the venue and all the eateries on Boundary street. Also not far from South Bank. We were impressed by the cleanliness of our room and the friendly/helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Rooms a little small but everything else more than make up for this. Good for those who travel light.

Yes, it was great. The building looked like it had only recently been built, so was lovely and clean, quiet and was just what we wanted. I would stay there again and in fact, my partner and I intend to do just that; close to South Bank and the City. Thanks, L

Conveniently located near central West End facilities. Quite close to public transport, Coles Super Market and numerous restaurants. Certainly stay again.

Rooms are a bit small and no where to put suit cases

An excellent modern clean motel located in South Brisbane near restaurants and the popular Melbourne Hotel. Very comfortable, well appointed. Management were friendly and made me feel right at home.

This hotel was great value for money. It is not flash but is comfortable and the location is great. It was a little noisy but we were only there for one night so the noise didn't bother us too much. Our only complaint would be the blanket on the bed had something dry and crusty all over it which was gross but the rest of the room was very clean.

I enjoyed the stay..comfortable, pleasant, no frills but nice. Great if you are wanting to visit Galleries,find interesting food, good coffee shops and easy transport.

good location close to every thing

Rooms compact but well maintained. TV & coverage excellent. Room serviced very well. A pleasant 10-15min walk to Brisbane CBD. Close to a great range of Cafes and Eating options- Ensuit shower room very small - a challenge to bend over and brush teeth over basin. - would stay there again.

from the luscious smell of what turned out to be an organic lentil and tomato soup cooking on the caretaker's stove we were drawn inside. Our room was super neat and clean and seemingly newly refurbished. Small but with an efficient use of space. Ten minute walk down to Grey St at Southbank was easy, so was the stumble back at 3am. would definitely stay there again on our country mouse goes to the city jaunts.

The Wi-Fi did not work! Next time then...

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was very well equipped for our needs and the location was great- a walk to cafes and the supermarket,the art gallery and all that South Bank offers. Very happy and will stay there again.

the beds are so comfy, the rooms are clean, my son loves the extra tv channels....and the service is very freindly and helpful...totally recommend this motel on the south of brisbane..

The hotel is near to WestEnd restaurants. Nice and clean. Good overnighter hotel.
