Edward Hotel London

Nice hotel,very good location,less than 5min paddington station and many buses to central london,even you can walk to Edgware Raod and Marble Arch, good facilities and very quiet. the rooms are small but that's a budget Hotel. will stay again for sure.

This hotel is good enough considering its a stones throw from Paddington station and all buses to most parts of London. its basic ok. its all about convienience. my room was good and clean, with an ensuite. the staff were fine and i was happy staying at hotel edward. the issues? well - the breakfast for one. why offer breakfast if you're not going to do it properly? bad food - cheap bread, poor cheese and i actually felt sick after eating (and this was free - so believe me, I tried!). Unattractive eating area and in a basement with no natural light - very depressing first thing. And the lift; dodgy, rickety and very slow. Apart from this - a great experience.

For the price I paid I was expecting a dump, but I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be ... surprisingly pleasant.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location, good facilities and very quiet. Will stay again.

hotel needs a little bit of finess.I was on the top floor in a room with a window at the back and the front. the curtains left a 4 " gap at the bottom so in summer you would be woken by the light shining in. Fortunatley I was staying in winter. All the bed covers had cigarret burns and the shower was impossible to adjust, either vey hot or freezing. Quick check in and freindly staff. Great location.

This hotel is in a great location. Short walk from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park. The bed was comfortable, shower was good and at the end of the day, you pay for what you get. Note: it's noisy on the 1st floor, so ask for an upper level room.

Small room but opened on to a balcony. Comfortable. Ensuite small, esp the shower cubicle, but clean and nicely tiled. Shower has plenty of pressure and hot water. Reasonable price for the quality and location. I would stay here again.

Good location, close to central London. Reasonably friendly. However morning showers were a little icy as it took 5-10 minutes to get warm water - no need to turn on the cold!

Not as bad as many recent reports written on Trip Advisor - no bed bugs for our visit, and service was fine!!. Room very small, halls narrow, room furniture and furnishings delapidated. Great position close to Paddington Station.

Basic hotel, but great for the money, and fantastic location. Stayed with group of friends, water pressure not great on the fifth floor, but would return!

Clean, cheap, and central!

Great location, nice service. We had one of the best rooms and it was really nice. Overall, a modest hotel but highly recommended.

Originally tried to put us in a tiny room that overlooked the fire escape that I would have gone mad in for 3 days with a tiny window to open only at the top. Luckily they had a spare room available on another floor and changed our room so the stay was good after this.

A bargain.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, great location as only a 2 minute walk to Paddington train station & underground so excellent to find transport to see the sights. Single room small as usual for London, but had full ensuite facilities and clean.

On arrival, there were no single rooms available, so I was ungraded to a twin for the same price. The room clean and all facilities inside worked. The continental breakfast was very good. A good hotel for a good price.

Very small room (no place to open luggage). Otherwise fine.
