Hotel description:    Situated in the middle of the unspoilt medieval town of Rothenburg, the Eisenhut is an attractive hotel created from 15th-century patrician houses. Its historic origins are reflected in the interior, which is adorned with gleaming suits of armour, marvellous antiques and relics of imperial armies. The bedrooms are luxurious and spacious, with beautiful flowered bedcovers and big gilt mirrors adding to their charm. Sophisticated international menus also include local specialities, and are complemented by fine wines from the cellar.

Getting there: Highway A7 between Würzburg and Ulm, exit Rothenburg. Follow the signs to "Stadtmitte" (City Center), the hotel is located next to the market square in the middle of the old town.
