I stayed in the older section and although it is showing its age a bit, it was very comfortable and had a nice view of the water. I even had a kitchen, and the deck was a nice addition. I found the cruiseships to be both interesting to look at and a sort of albatross at the same time. The snorking in front of the hotel was one of the best sites I found. The staff was wonderful and I felt very welcome. However the cost of the taxi to and from town really added up. Town is close enough to walk if you want some exercise. All in all, good value.
Its ok, but they should have shuttles to the "nice part" , because you got to catch a taxi everytime and it' aint cheap.

Very convenient having Babieca Dive Shop on the premises. My regulator failed and they provided one, no charge. The restaurant had great food and we breakfasted there every AM.
The hotel staff was very friendly, and I received a complimentary upgrade upon arrival, which ended up being very nice. The hotel is located directly next to the SSA cruise ship pier, and just a few minutes away from the Puerta Maya pier and a few minutes to downtown San Miguel, the center of the popular shopping, activities and nightlife areas.
