On Internamerican Highway, 150 meters South of Burger King in Liberia. P.O. Box 13-5000, Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
El Punto is a small six loft style room Bed & Breakfast. El Punto has been through an extreme makeover to recover what was originally an elementary school. Most of the buildings are all wood, typical of Guanacaste farm houses. An eccentric combination of bright colors, present in the decor and the outside gardens give it a whimsical but modern twist. The other interesting thing about El Punto is the fact that even though it in in Downtown Liberia, large Guanacaste, matapalo and malinche trees surround the property. This has also made it attractive to various species of animals to visit El Punto. El Punto Spa A variety of skin and relaxation treatments are available at El Punto. We recommend to email us prior to your arrival to arrange any particular treatment. Dinner party. Upon your arrival we are able to organize an all Costa Rican food feast. We also need of your prior reservation to make the proper arrangements.

Wonderful service, very clean and colorful oasis in the middle of Liberia! We only stayed one day; layover to catch an early flight to the States. They provided an early bfast for us at 530am. Only complaint is a noisy bar across the street...earplugs or Ambien works great. Definately a place we will come back to. Also, [your website] was very reliable and offered the best price!!
The location is bad because you are trying to sleep by a busy highway where the big trucks use Jake Brakes all night long. Otherwise great place...
Loft Style. Two full size beds. Kitchenette, full bathroom with hot shower. Full set of toiletries. Private terrace with view to the garden. Breakfast and Aperitive are complimentary. Transportation to or from Liberia Airport also complimentary, with prior reservation. One or two children may stay in the same room for no extra charge.
Positive: Very neat hotel with artsy colors. Looks kind of strange at first but when you check it out closer it's pretty cool. Good location right next to a nice variety of restaurants and a big grocery store for last minute gift shopping. Great a/c. Negative: They didn't have record of our reservations (we were with another couple and had two rooms reserved). So the owner offered us one room with a little discount. We bunked up and it was fine. Each room has two double beds, one of which is in a loft. My understanding was transportation to the airport was included but we had to pay $15.00 to the driver when he dropped us off. Maybe it was my misunderstanding. I'd stay there again but confirm the reservation and transportation details before arrival.
It is hard to see from the road. Overall, a good experience.
Excellent small hotel with 7 rooms, great decor, nice outdoor lounge, and hammocks outside each room! The rooms also have an upstairs loft that can sleep two extra people. The walk in shower had a large, rain shower head with plenty of hot water. The sink has cold water connected to both handles. Kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker were included. Staff is very friendly and helpful and provides free transportation to and from the Liberia airport. The hotel is built in a former school, remodeled by the owner, who holds her architectural degree. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Liberia, Costa Rica.
