"Beautiful spot overlooking the Acropolis from the roof top restaurant. Decor of the hotel is a little tired but is made up for by the location. We thought is was a bit overpriced, especially the restaurant prices. Reception staff were not very helpful or friendly." - Kay Ryan
"Stayed there from november 15th until 19th. We payed for a superior room and were upgraded on arrival to a junior suite which was very nice. The room was much to hot and not comfortable because of that. At this time of the year they do not operate the air conditioning. We therefore had the balcony doors open during the night and that resulted in numerous insect bites both for myself and my wife. But this is a excellent hotel at the very best location but I would not stay there again. " - Thorsteinn Gardarsson
"We ordered breakfast in our room once. We were pleased with it except for one thing - the cheese and ham platter did not seem fresh. The cheese looked like it had been on the plate for a day and the ham was sticky and really discusting. Also there was this piece of salami which looked very much uneatable. We hope that this was a human error, however this should not happen at a 5 star hotel.
Overall we were happy with the service and most of the staff were really nice and friendly. However some of them seemed to act as if they´re something better than their customers because they work at a 5 star hotel. So they should really adjust their service attitude to be a lot more customer service oriented." - Anonymous
"This hotel was reccomnded to me by a friend.
Indeed the hotel was super-clean, had an elegant decor, each room had a balcony and the hotel was located right at the heart of the historical district.
However, the facilities are overrated: the 'gym' composes of a couple of treadmills and the 'indoor swimmming' pool is tiny.
