Good, but a few problems with booking, not happy about bed, curtain, but overall not bad.

We stayed at Elegance Hanoi for 3 nights and it was a great choice! I would definately stay again! The hotel is located in the old quarter, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and effecient. At this price and service, you can't go wrong!

Helpful staff and very convenient location. Small rooms but good value - especially if you're spending all day out sight seeing and just after a decent place to sleep.
Friendly staff. One of them even phoned a hotel in the next place we were about to visit, made a reservation for us and printed out the contact details. We didn't have to pay for this. They even used the actual exchange rate when paying the bill instead of a fixed 17.000 dong for 1 USD as we later experienced. Best hotel we stayed in in Hanoi!
An older hotel, and it's showing, but fantastic staff...I'd stay there again.
Lovely room and very gracious and helpful staff and management.
Very friendly and helpful staff. No lift gets the blood pumping with all the stairs but are helpful staff ready to carry your luggage. I stayed 2 nights over several days - 2 rooms were modern and very spacious. I would definitely return there.
Very nice deluxe room with own internet PC!! Good service, very nice staff. Price also great! Room was a bit loud, because of headed directly to the road - and Hanoi *is* very loud. But wanted to stay in the center, so that was quite okay.
The staff were very helpful regarding local sites etc. And it was great to have computers, with free unlimited internet access, in every room.

Really helpful and knowledgable staff who all had great sense of humour. The location was great - easy access to shops, attractions, transport. Bed was pretty hard but the room was clean and good value.

The hotel room is spacious and clean. It also has a large bathroom. It is quiet provided the room is not facing the street. It has 24 hours Internet service inside the room, a TV, a mini fridge and a small hair dryer. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the old quarters area and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The price is reasonable. Overall it is an excellent hotel and I've enjoyed my stay there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who does not mind staying in a small budget hotel with great people and facilities. No elevator though if you have difficulty walking up the stairs.

Very friendly service - staff are extremely helpful Location is great for touring the old quarter. The best coffee in Hanoi! Only drawback was the foul smelling drains from around 10 pm to early am - but fine by wake up time.
Great position in the old quarter where everything happens. Fantastic staff who were so friendly and helpful, made you feel part of their family. Only drawback is there is no lift but they will carry your bags for you anyway. Excellent value and would recommend it to anyone. We will definately stay there again.
