The staff was exceptional. Friendly and knows what you need before you even ask. The only problem we had were the beds were a little hard, but that is normal among most hotels.

Room was a little smaller than expected but it in no way detracted from the experience. Staff were courteous and helpful. Great breakfast room located at roof level - nice way to wake up to the cityscape. Hotel located at the top of a hill so be prepared for a daily exercise. All areas within sensible walking distance

The view from the room where you eat breakfast is amazing, and has a great view of Rome from a tree top level.

Breakfast was only average. No restaurant in hotel. We arrived late the first night and had to go out to find a restaurant.

Staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. 5 - 10 minute walk from Spanish Steps and subway. 1 minute walk from Via Veneto. Quieter setting than average for Rome. Expansive treetop view of Rome from spacious breakfast room on the top floor. Seek rooms facing the park (admittedly, a bit more street noise), and on higher floors. Try to switch - even if in mid stay - to accomplish that. Rooms on highest floor have juliette balconies. Rooms smallish, but suites are roomy for two people. Bathrooms have up-to-date toilet, bidet, & sink, but other fixtures & appointments need updating, repair, or paint. Hotel overall is clean, but for the price, to North American eyes looks tired, as do many European hotels. You'll be happy enough though.

Hotel is in a nice area, we walked everywhere, good places to eat near by. The air conditioning could have been better we were there in July and it was hot.

A wonderful stay. The hotel staff were most welcoming and helpful. The hotel position is to be recommended and the breakfast room on the top floor has superb views towards the Vatican.

l liked the hotel because persons at the front desk are kind enough, and breakfast at the top floor is nice with a beautiful view of Roma city and Borghese park.

The hotel has a great view of the Vatican from the room you have breakfast in. The breakfast was nice and extensive. The location is great for shopping, close to the Spanish Steps and is quiet.

Eliseo is close to Spanish Steps, Barberini, and Parc Borghese. It was safe for me to walk alone at night on via Veneto (where there are nice cafes and restaurants) to get back to the hotel. The staff is friendly. The view from the breakfast room on the top floor is superb.

Superb location at the top of the Via Veneto. Rooms are smallish but attractive - if possible, try to get one on the fifth floor with a balcony. Excellent breakfast, unusual in its extravagance for Rome, served in the rooftop dining area - this alone is worth the visit. Staff pleasant and helpful but not top-notch. Still, this is probably the best choice all around in the Via Veneto/Spanish Steps region.

Excellent location and view of Vatican from roof top breakfast bar. Unable to get dinner at the hotel but Santino, the barman,( who was very good company) booked us at a lovely restaurant within yards of the hotel. Wife recovering from Cancer so it was good that she enjoyed the atmospheric position of the hotel and quality of room.

With it's location just off the Via Veneto the Eliseo is an ideal hotel for a romantic visit to Rome. The bar and lounge is very good with great advice from the barman on how to make the most of the city on our wedding anniversary(helping select the right restaurant for our celebration). The breakfast ,which was excellent, was made even more special as we looked over the sights of the Vatican and St Peters in the distance.....
