Getting there:From Termini Railways Station take the Underground "LINE A", Direction "BATTISTINI" and get off at "BARBERINI STOP" (SECOND STOP). Once in Piazza Barberini take Via SISTINA and go ahead until the second road on the left. There you are: VIA FRANCESCO CRISPI 49. You can also reach the hotel from the railways station by foot 1n 15 minutes.

Very old and worn out hotel but cheap at an excellent location. If you don't spend time in your room it is perfect. Bed was okay.

The location is superb - it IS a few steps away from the Spanish Steps and a few blocks close to the Trevi Fontain, the metro is just down the road, the area is filled with shops, restaurants and cafes. The perfectt starting point in Rome, where you are in middle of everything! I think we got the smallest room in the hotel, but it was clean, the bed was good, it got tv, hairdryer and so on - and you are in Rome to see the city, not to stay at the hotel, right! I will defently recommend the hotel and stay there again!
I read some very bad reviews of the hotel prior to staying there so was expecting the worst. Overall the location is fantastic and the place has a bed and a bathroom so I thought it was ideal for someone on shoestring budget wanting to be in the centre of things. Star rating of two was appropriate.

An excellent hotel with a charming atmosphere and pleasant staff. With just a short walk to the Spanish Steps, it is ideally situated for a short break to Rome.
Very old hotel and it shows. Dirty wallpaper and smelly bathroom. A hotel of a very bad standard. The location, however, is good. Walking distance to many of the famous places in Rome.
It was alright, nothing glamorous or anyhing. Great location though.
Located near a few local restaurants that are good and authentic. A few minutes from Via Veneto and the Trevi Fountain, a bit longer to the Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum. Via Tritone nearby is an excellent thoroughfare for buses to the sights.
Adequate facilities, great location, reasonable value, and helpful staff
Elite Hotel Rome was a quaint, quiet centrally placed haven which gave us a unique Italian experience and flavour - we did enjoy the blackcurrant jam and thanks for the tip about its health promoting properties.
