"The really bad thing about the hotel was it's location. It is at the top of the street which is a hill. It took me about 10-15 mins just to walk to Orchard road station. It was very tiring to walk as Singapore is very hot! The rooms are a bit old and I was given a smoking room instead of my booked non-smoking room which smelt a little bad. If you want to stay near orchard road stay on orchard road!!! Spend the extra 50-100 $ it will be worth it believe me! The receptionist were nice and helpful. Though it did take them a while to fax through my voucher but I was given a drink and a leather chair. I would not stay here again however as I think I would pay the extra for a more comfortable room and better location. [Other hotel] is just done the street but is still a fare walk from Orchard road but my have better rooms. The area was quiet but I think I would of preferred to of stayed on Orchard road. Would not stay here again due to location and comfort." - Melissa Mears
