"Stayed one night while going to the Tattoo. Bus stop two minutes from hotel and less than ten minutes on bus to Princes Street. Hotel has seen better days but clean and comfortable. Only problem was breakfast - it was well cooked and plenty of it but the staff were very slow in topping up the hot plate. A quick word with the duty manager expedited the problem. All in all a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to stay but very close to the sights of Edinburgh." - James Samson
"Booked a double, was upgraded to an executive room. Very nice room, wonderful breakfast service. Says 1 mile to downtown, but I would say it is further than 1 mile. Plan to use bus or taxi services!" - Michelle Schei
"Nice little hotel, it has this old feel to it, which we loved. Very cute with the green plants on the walls. Nice service and we had a very good time. The location is abit outside town, it was nice and quiet, bit far to walk into Edinburgh city centre, but it went fast with a cab! Very cosy little place!" - Inger Lise Lingrasmo
