The Ercilla Hotel group expands its range of hotels in Vizcaya with a new four star hotel in getxo. This new eshtablishment "embarcadero", will offer its guests a marvellos 27-room hotel in a privileged area, with large terraces overlooking the sea, situated in the heart of Getxo and with excellent communications with the centre of bilbao. The hotel is a refurbished 1900 aristocratic house, in the neobasque style and designed by the architect manuel smith. the building has been totally recovered by his grandson and also pretigious architect, jose maria smith solaun. The rooms contrast the glamour of the 1920´s, with the technology of the 21st century, and are equipped with important technological advances, offering high speed internet connection and flat screen televisions with liquid display. The rooms have been decorated by a leading team of interior designers, headed by itziar echebarria, and the assistance of Ana and Cristina Calderon. |
