Getting there:From Fiumicino airport, located 35 Km far from Rome west side, you can get to the hotel: ·by Special Train Express The “Express” train leaves every day from Fiumicino Airport every 30 minutes and it stops at the Termini Railway Station without no mid-journey stops. by Taxi Taxis are available in the arrivals areas of the terminals. The fare to the centre of Rome is about 45 Euro. From Ciampino airport, located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the east side of Rome, you can get to the hotel: ·by ACO.TRA.L bus + Train ·by ACO.TRA.L bus + Subway From Termini railway station you can get to the hotel: · by Rome's subway(Metropolitana) · by Bus(ATAC) Outside Termini Station there is a big ATAC Buses parking. You can take bus n. 16 or 36. By car: after the exit from the motorway take the ring-road, go out to Nomentana street, go straight on to Porta Pia, go on to XX Settembre Street. Salandra street is a crossroad in the middle of XX Settembre street.

Hotel is well located in the city centre. Room and bathroom is relatively small. Breakfast is OK but lacks variety-the continental breakfast does not change from day-to-day.

A nice hotel with a good location. Very attentiv staff at breakfast. The recomanddation for a nice rest. from the reception did not turn out to bee all that good. Trust the recomendations in books like Let`s go or "Shoe string". We would come back for another stay.
Overall a good hotel in terms of location and cleanliness. Even though the hotel has a lift, the entrance only has stairs which makes it difficult to take heavy luggage up and down. Also the shower was really small with no room to move at all.
Rooms at the ground floor too noisy. Impossible to rest during the rush hours including some of the evening and early in the morning.
I had the chance to stay in two rooms; one was cleaner, quieter and nicer than the other. The TV remotes were a little grimy. Water is hot. Bed sleeps well. Shower stalls miniscule, but bath tub comfy. Manager is grumpy but receptionists friendly enough. Breakfast staff is very nice. Breakfast room is sunny, pleasant. Easy walk to food and transportation.
Spent 4 nights end November in Embassy Hotel which is in a good location for all sights. We got from the airport, a shuttle (9seater)bus straight to the hotel door - 15e pp and the same on our return. On being allocated bedroom no 240(spacious and basic), there was a very strong smell in it and also in the shower room. We changed to room no 235 which was fine. These rooms face onto the road and could be v noisy if you had to leave the windows open eg in the Summer, but ok for the winter. The weather was ideal, 18/19c deg during the day with plenty of sunshine, and coolish early morning and evening.Both restaurants across the road (Da Giovanni) and pizza place were nice and very reasonably priced-15e plenty food incl wine. Breakfast in the hotel was very basic, no such thing as cold meats or cheese! No teasmade in the room! The space between the sink and shower unit measured about 12 inches, so very tight. All in all a pleasant trip and the hotel was fine, for our needs - sleep!
A very nice hotel. Good location (a 10minute walk to Trevi Fountain). For Europe this hotel had a reasonably size bathroom. Staff were friendly and polite.
A typical no-frills tourist hotel, it was well situated near the Piazza Delll Republica in an old building, close to Termini but away from its seedy side. It was good value, room was fine- tiled floor small but adequate bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is a quiet hotel fifteen minutes walk from the spanish steps, the people on reception were very polite. The rooms were very clean.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel as it had everything we wanted. It was in a good location, was clean and the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
After reading poor reviews about many other hotels, i wasn't expecting this one to be very good but overall i was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, nice and quiet and we could put luggage in a store until our room was ready. On the downside, the breakfast was basic : cereal (2 choices), yoghurt, bread, coffee and juice (not real orange juice though) and there was no tea and coffee facilities in the room. There didn't appear to be any other facilities either. Location was good, managed to walk everywhere except for the Vatican but the bus did run from around the corner which was good. Would use this hotel again.
Quite basic, but the price reflects that. It is well situated, and the room was clean, comfortable and had good en suite facilities, hair dryer, mini-bar (soft drinks and beer) and safe. Apert from that there is a reception (always staffed) and a lift. Breakfast is just coffee and croissants and yoghurt. More a series of rooms in a large building than a Hotel.

Staff were very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that all aspects of our trip were enjoyable. I would definately stay there again.
Nice hotel near the termini train station (so very close to public transportation). The hotel has all the basic needs and is very clean. It was the perfect base from where we've explored the city ... we'll be back
