"This was our first time in Auckland and we were well received. We were also told that we were the first Bruneians to ever stay there, such an honour!
The hotel apartment was good value for money for only about NZD$120 per night - it had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an all-in-one kitchen, dining and mini living room. My 4 girls loved it! My wife could easily cook as well, as at times we decided to dine in!
The only 2 minus points - there was no toaster (they had a stove, micro-wave and cooking utensils) and small cockroaches were sometimes seen under the kitchen's sink! Should they be able to call a pesticide control company and declare that the place is free from cockroaches, only then will I take my family to stay there again.
On the whole, it wasn't such a bad place, quite cosy and easy 10-15 minutes walk to Queen Street. The other good thing, there was a convenient store right next door." - Pg Hj Abd Wahab Pg Hj Sulaiman
