"A pretty unique and cool hotel, located 5 minutes (walking) from the town centre. The hotel has a quirky (good) layout with great views of the surrounding hills and countryside. An excellent breakfast service is available from 9-12 in the morning and there is a free help yourself bar (wine,beer,sherry,soft drinks) all day/night. There is a free internet service/computer available. Ther staff were very helpful and friendly. My ownly gripe was that our room aircon didn't work. "A very different hotel, like staying with friends. Sauna and pool were great. Beautiful breakfast. Help yourself coffe, tea, juice, wine and fino at any time. We had lots of nice conversation with other guests in the bar and and the terrace. Several very nice common spaces -bar, library, Tv room, terraces but all intimate and cosy. EnfrenteArte, a charming and different hotel in Ronda.
Beautifully situated in the oldest paved street of Ronda and surrounded by historic buildings, this unique and laid back hotel is just moments from the city centre but yet faces the natural park "Sierra de las Nieves”.
The house itself has been decorated with eclectic details, original and historical artwork and atmospheric lightning. Above the very intimate bar and relaxed dining room, the hotel also has a recreation room with a pool table, television, a library as well as a computer with free access to the internet.
The subtropical garden, with a large variety of exotic plants, birds and fish is an attraction for nature lovers and the children. Several romantic courtyards and terraces offer stunning views of the mountains, the river "Guadalevin", the old city and the renowned horse riding school "Maestranza de Ronda".
The hotel also provides an outdoor swimming pool and a sauna. Those with more energy can grab some action at the new multifunctional sport complex just around the corner.

The best way to drive to the hotel :
First of all you'll have to go to the centre of the city ("Centro Urbano") and head for the main street called “Virgen de la Paz”. Once you’re on this main street you continue until you reach the bull fighting ring (“Plaza de Toros”) on your right side. You pass the bull fighting ring until you see the famous bridge (“Puente Nuevo”). Don’t pass the bridge but take the last road before the bridge on your left. This road is called “Rosario”. Than you have to take the first road to the right, “Calle Los Remedios”. It’s a small street going down. At the end of this street, you’ll have to take right again. It’s a street going down as well and it’s called “Calle Santa Cecilia”. Go down to the end where you’ll see the church and a monument with water taps. There you turn left. Now you’re in the “calle Real”, the street where the hotel is located. |
