The poor facilities (my radiator kept breaking down on a cold winter's day) were made up for by the wonderful, friendly, helpful staff, who always came to my room in seconds to try to fix it.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's only about 5-7 minutes walk from Victoria train/bus station. I would only stay for 1-2 nights as the place is in need of renovation and you can hear every movement from the rooms above.
Could do with a good overhall and up date. Carpets in the room very tatty, ok for one night would not want to stay any longer.
Our room was very tiny, and in the basement. There was a double bed & single bed, which were up against each other and also against the walls on either side, wall to wall beds, you had to get into bed from the foot of the bed. The bed was comfortable though, and the bathroom although small, was OK.
Great location; very close to the Victoria tube station and within walking distance of Buckingham palace. Free wifi access. Clean rooms and facilities. English breakfast was decent. Very reasonably priced for a top notch location. Staff is polite enough. I stayed in room with full bed and shared bathroom (which was well maintained).
Our room was clean but it was small. For a few days it is ok. Location good. No much space for luggage storage after doing the checkout.
