Check-in Time: 3:00 PM
Check-out Time: 12:00 PM
Getting there:Simpang Pulai is one of the three exit points leading into Ipoh and another alternative route to Cameron Highlands. Quickest way is to take the North-South Expressway. From Kuala Lumpur, one just need to drive North and from Penang, just drive South till you reach Simpang Pulai and get off at Exit 137. When you turn off at Exit 137, you will reach Simpang Pulai Toll Booth and right ahead of you is a traffic light which you need to make a right turn. Right after the right turn, you will reach another traffic light (four junction traffic light), make a right turn from there and you are now on the one and only road up the Highlands. Drive on the scenic road all the way up till you reach a T-junction with a signage indicating to turn right for Brichang. Make a right turn from there and drive all the way up till you reach Equatorial Cameron Highlands which is on your left. The total drive from Kuala Lumpur to the resort should take you about 2hrs 45mins.

Overall, it is quite value for money. The hotel is a but ages and need some major "refresh" that will be great!
the hotel is at the good location will come back again
Very spacious and clean
Great place to stay. The staff are friendly. Location is good.
Hotel could consider installing fans in rooms on the lower levels as Cameron Highlands is not as cool as it used to be. Otherwise on the whole, it was a pleasant stay.
The room is not very well maintained but the location is good with a market nearby and eatries
Nice environment and friendly customer service. We're happy to stay in the Equatorial Cameron Highlands Hotel.
The hotel rooms are clean and neat. Good customer service. On that day, the rain fell throughout the night, fortunetly it provided facilities for kids & adult like swimming pool and games, so it won't feel bore and can spend our holiday in the hotel.
The hotel is about 15-18 years old It was maintained relatively well
Very basic furnishing for the price. Only good thing is the 2-bedroom apartment we had on the top floor which has a huge open balcony and a fantastic view.
Even though the hotel had been renovated recently, there are signs of age everywhere. Switches don't work, crack on walls etc. At least they are clean. Staff are courteous. Food quality is acceptable, though I would choose to eat elsewhere if possible.
Good location at KEA Farms, large suites.
Only spent a nite here but I find everything is in order and reasonable price.
Relaxing holiday destination for the whole family. Nice weather & cool environment. Good food at reasonable price. Lots of place to visit, like tea plantation, cactus valley, rose centre, flower nursery, vegetable farm, water cress farm, organic farm, orchid farm, strawberry farm, honey bee farm, day market & night market(on Friday, Saturday & school holidays), jungle adventures....... A place not to miss, "Time Tunnel" in Brinchang, a very unique gallery which takes you back down to memory lane. Recommend to stay there 3-4 days. Would go back again.
Attentive, friendly, helpful staff, loved the place and will go again.
Location is ideal, within walking distance to KEA farms, butterfly, bee farm. Hotel room is equipped with basics sufficient for comfortable stay.
The rooms etc very quite basic, not fancy at all, not quite what you would expect from a 4-star resort. However the food at the 2 restaurants was pretty good and the staff was willing to accommodate to our requests. The flush in the bathroom was faulty, towels did not look clean.
The 2 bedroom apartment are quite spacious, with a very big balcony. Would have been ideal if there's outdoor table and chairs for the balcony. Overall, it's a peaceful and quiet location, good for R&R.
Stayed at the Equatorial March 2007 but was quit disappointed with the room allocated even though I booked deluxe. The room could REALLY need an new coat of paint and half the sockets didn't work and some were hanging out from the wall. The hotel has huge potential but need some money put into it. Though the room was a good size and the staff helpful.
The equatorial hotel requires refurbishing also after booking a 2 room apartment it was not possible to even make toast, with two kids that is very hard.
