Erakor Island Resort & Spa Limtied Port Vila Vanuatu
Erakor Island Resort is a private 16 acre island located in the crystal clear blue waters of Erakor Lagoon. We are only 5 minutes from downtown Port Vila by bus then a 5 minute free ferry ride to the island. The Resort features 21 unique absolute waterfront bungalows set amongst tropical palm trees and gardens which offer spectacular views. All Bungalows have a private balcony. The Bungalows feature king sized beds, with full tea/coffee making facilites, refrigerator, ceiling fans and ironing facilities. There is an overwater restaurant and bar that offers full a la carte meals plus daily blackboard specials. Enjoy a happy hour cocktail in the early evening and watch the sun set. We have a well renowned Day Spa for all the pampering you may require. Watersports are complimentary for guests. Enjoy the fantastic snorkelling off our beaches, or kayak several kilometres down our lagoon.

Getting there:The Resort has a 24 hr complimentary ferry and is a 5 minutes ride from the mainland. The capital city of Port Vila, is only a 5 minute bus ride away. It takes only 15 minutes to get to Erakor Island Resort from the Airport.

Very quiet, staff friendly, good food. Great way to start a holiday there.
This property NEEDS a pool ! The lagoon is not a safe place for adult swimming, fine for toddlers on the beach. Lack of basics eg tonic water, at many hotels and in the shops is getting annoying!! Will not be returning to Vanuatu in a hurry.
Bungalows are scattered around the island, absolute waterfront. All rooms have 1 King size bed and a day bed. Maximum capacity is 2 Adults or 2 adults/1 child or 1 Adult/2 children. There are no phones or TV's in the room to spoil the tranquility. Each bungalow features a Verandah, perfect for evening cocktails. Bathrooms have a shower and hair dryer. . Safe is available at reception.

A very relaxed island that we found very enjoyable.....it would have been better if air conditioning was in the units...we went in March 2009 & we thought it was very hot & humid....otherwise all was good & could not complain about their staff.....found them all friendly & willing to help.

Charming location, best in in Port Villa (we visited several resorts there). Great swimming, clean water, magnificent tropical forest, charming bungallows. There is no airconditioning (badly needed in summer) or telephones in bungallows. Occasional power and water cuts are compensated by extremly helpfull and friendly staff. Check your kayak (free hire for guests), ours almost sunk from under us due to faulty repairs. Safety vest are available. Strongly recommend this resort for peacefull and relaxing break if you can take it easy Vanuatu style. Please take care of the lovely kitten roaming around the island.
Fabulous and friendly people, we are definately coming back here!! Villas are serviced daily and very comfortable. Day spa average, but food and friendliness were A1!
Excellent location, beautiful water and friendly staff. Current manager was extremely accommodating- fantastic! Snorkling off the beach was great. Restaurant beside the water was fantastic, service was a little slow (vanuatu time) but the food was worth the wait- and had more time to experiment with cocktails..Mmmm. Got the room at a fantastic rate also.
