Escale Oceania Hotel Aix En Provence

We salute the staff especially the desk personnel. We had an international emergency and their help and concern was very comforting during this time. They could not be friendlier or more helpful. Kudos to them for their caring. Thank You to the staff.

This hotel is very good, and the meals in the restaurant excellent value, but it is located far from the centre/old town. if arriving by TGV/bus shuttle it is >1/2 hr walk... there is a bus but it stops at 8pm!! if you are driving i would recommend this hotel.

Distant from the center of town. Needed a car to get into town. Pool was nice but did not you. Breakfast was overpriced. Room was small but funtional.

Very friendly and helpful staff, think description of this hotel should include that it is a 25 minute walk, mostly uphill, into the town, which could be a problem for some people

Helpful friendly staff. Location approx. 30 mins walk from town, good bus service to and from centre. Swimming pool and good facilities for relaxing. Good breakfast.

The hotel was nice and the room was very small but clean and tidy. They are very helpful. If you live abroad, take time to check all the charges before you sign, because when you realize that they charged more and you don't complaint in that moment, it will be hard to complaint from far away. That is what I am trying to do it now, and I am making copies of everything and send them so they can solve this problem. I hope the hotel will be fair enough with us and be credited to my account.

Considered very good value for money certainly would use again

The check in was quick and easy. The personel was helpful. The location was not ideal (next to the speedway) but the double glazed windows were very effective in keeping the room quiet. However, sleeping with the windows open was not really an option. Overall, a nice stay.
