Esplanade Hotel Fremantle

The hotel has two great pools that are easy to spend hours in. It is a convenient place to access by train. Close to beach, playground and lots of places to eat. It would be nice if the coffee in the rooms was better quality.

The location etc was great. The only criticism is the cost of aspects such as the valet parking and in-house movies. Staff were very polite and professional.

Ambience and service excellent however very expensive overall. Valet car parking very good also very expensive.

We really enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff and lovely location. There is always plenty to do and see in Fremantle.

Great location, walking distance to everything. Very nice hotel it was very clean and the service was wonderful, very helpful staff.

Great hotel for a break with a child. Short walk to everything and a playground across the road. Great pools and friendly staff. Only thing that they could improve would be to have nice coffee in the tea and coffee boxes in the room.

As the only real hotel in Fremantle, I do think that they should lift their game. Although everything is quite OK, there is nothing special. The room was clean but basic - ks bed, 2 tub chairs & 1 table, small tv placed at an angle to the bed and the chairs and the decor is boring. Compared to hotels in Singapore, this just doesn't cut it. And I am getting sick of hotels that insist on charging a credit card surcharge, especially the inflated amount that they always do.

Could do better with a more reasonable car parking cost as often cars are only there at night it woould give you a far better occupancy rate

This is the second time I have stayed at the Esplanade for business reasons. The first stay was perfect, this time there was a mix up with rooms, room service breakfast arrived in two lots, both cold. Was disappointed with the experience. Hotel staff however, are extrememly friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

stayed for my wedding night and from the pictures i expected a whole lot nicer than what we actually got. quite dissapointed

I love this hotel. Clean & comfortable. Had a room with balcony that overlook the pool. Shower's great. Excellent service. But it's expensive.

The Esplanade as usual provides everything we need. We parked the car and did not need it as we were within walking distance to whatever we needed to do. We met friends for dinner in the restaurant. We love sitting on the balcony of our room.

Excellent welcome and luggage quickly taken from car. Reception very friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Overall a very satisfactory stay and would go back if in Frio again.

Restuarnt service was not as attentive as could have been, dirty plates not cleanaed away and had to stach on table. Food was good though and though had to pay $25 to park car a night which was a bit of an overkill, especialy when you have to pay for the biscuits in the hotel room as well!

Situated at Fremantle Beach is a perfect location, did not eat in the holel although dining room looked very nice and was patronised well. Staff very helpful, used the valet parking this was very efficient. Overall very good value.

A great hotel. Location is excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms are great and the buffet was good but a bit expensive.

Can't complain. Service, room, facilities, staff, location very good. Tried all eating facilites and promenade bar rate all good close to very good. My wife enjoyed all facilities and service while I was working and wants to return. Very good place to stay with all of Freo's retraunts and attractions. So much to do not enough time in a week.
