Getting there:
Leave the airport on the motorway and stay on this road. Follow the sign Ribeira Grande /Furnas until you get to the road Ponta Delgada – Ribeira Grande, crossing the centre of the island. Before arriving at Ribeira Grande you get to a roundabout with a modern stone monument. Follow the sign to Furnas / Nordeste and drive past Ribeira Grande on a recently constructed road. As you reach the north coast, the road gets narrower and twists along the coast. You pass by two tea factories and shortly after the tea factory “Gorreana” carry straight on, ignoring the right turn to Furnas. Always stay on the main road close to the coast driving trough small villages and passing several river valleys. In “Nordeste”, you get to a roundabout. Carry straight on, and before the bridge, turn right. Drive up the road, and the Hotel is the building on your left.
