This hotel is in a prime location, right on the beach with a great surfing school off the back of the building, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. The service at the hotel is remarkably slow, the staff slightly surly. The whole place is really kooky, with random knick knacks all over and our room looked like it was a hallway that had been turned into a hotel room (stragest shaped room I've ever stayed in). Our room smelled terrible, and the sink took about 15 min to drain whenever you filled it. We only stayed one night so it was fine for our purposes, but this is a good example of that old adage that you only get what you pay for!

The history and location of this place would deserve a better management of the facilities. With so much stories and history to tell, and with such terrific environment, it´s a pitty that the hotel is not kept in a better state. Anyway, for those who love the sea, you don´t get much better ... and closer to it.

Excellant Restaurant with average prices for the area. Very Friendly staff from the owner/manager to receptionists,waiters, cleaners etc. The view of the Atlantic has to be seen to be believed. Will definately vist again

This interesting mexican feel motel must soon be due for a serious makeover so don't book it if you want plush or luxury, but it is perfectly satisfactory for the really low price. Big rooms and beds and the most fantastic view of an outstanding surfers beach. The night we arrived the waves were crashing almost up to our room and the beach is wonderful. This did bring out the surfers so we had a fine view of bare bottoms as all day they parked up and struggled in and out of their wet suits, but as we were out and about it didn't matter. I'd book again!
