"This interesting mexican feel motel must soon be due for a serious makeover so don't book it if you want plush or luxury, but it is perfectly satisfactory for the really low price. Big rooms and beds and the most fantastic view of an outstanding surfers beach. The night we arrived the waves were crashing almost up to our room and the beach is wonderful. This did bring out the surfers so we had a fine view of bare bottoms as all day they parked up and struggled in and out of their wet suits, but as we were out and about it didn't matter. Hotel description:    Estalagem Muchaxo is situated in Guincho beach, Cascais, close to the westernmost point in continental Europe (Cape Roca). Guincho beach offers a revitalizing contact with nature as well as support for the practice of surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The Estalagem, in this natural scenery, has a typical Portuguese decoration. Its restaurant is one of then most known in the region due to its magnificent view over the ocean and its cuisine. A unique atmosfere can be found at the bar.

Getting there: Directions from Lisbon Airport From the Airport, follow the sigh IC19 until you reach the sign A5 to Cascais. Take A5 towards Cascais until the end. Exit Cascais on the left 1st roundabout towards Birre. 2nd roundabout, towards Torre. 3rd roundabout drive until you reach the sea. 4th round-about towards Guincho ( on the right ).
