"Rooms very comfortable, nicely designed. Amazing views, (go for a superior room and you will have your own balcony). A little too far to walk to/from town though, as the hotel is located on a hill side and roads are STEEP! Bus stop just down from the hotel.

Funchals historical and cultural centre is only 2 km away. A courtesy hotel bus with a fixed schedule as well as covered and open parking spaces are provided for the hotel guests. Nearby you will find a public bus stop and the departure point for the toboggan rides is also within short reach. |

When leaving the airport, follow the main road to Funchal, until you see a sign with the name Funchal Campo da Barca (approximately 15 km after leaving the airport). Turn in that direction, then follow the sign with the name Funchal Pena, and on the left hand side you will see a brown sign that reads Quinta Mirabela. From this point on you just need to follow the brown signs. |
