Estrel Hotel Berlin

Hotel in a congress center - a congress center in a hotel. Lies in the outskirts of Berlin with good connections to city with S-trains and U-Bahns. They charge for internet 3,00 euros per beginning hour - log on/logg off and only the minutes you are logged on are counted. For me it was 15,00 euros for four days stay. Breakfast was not included (18,00 euros) which made the stay quite expensive.

Internet service is not so convenient. Wireless service is only available at the main lobby and is only free for one hour. According to the price, the internet service should be free and available at any place.

Location is actually probably alright for most tourists, I was offered this hotel instead of another one which was more center - website is probably more to blame, that is, offering a secondary hotel this far from center ... and me of course for not checking.

The staff was friendly, and helpful. The lobby was very smoke-filled. Italian restaurant had good food, and good pricing. One serious complaint: the Internet rate was quite overpriced.

Laundry service was not so good, but otherwise, service was good, room excellent, and if you're attending a conference at the center, then at the price it is the right choice (if booked here online. the 'published' price changes the decision balance)

very nice hotel, nice service, a bit far away from the centre, but is worth the trip!!

Easy to go to by car. Near S-station. Near airport Schönefeld.

The hotel has very diverse facilities. Good restaurants and spacious rooms. It's always a pleasure to stay here.

This was my 5 stay and still enjoy staying there. Great Atmospehere, good rooms and large selction of Restaurants.
