Very basic but a good price and location. Would stay again.

Needs an Elevator

I definitely come back to the Europa House Hotel. People at the front was kind and helpful. The location was close enough to the Peddington station. There is one thing i don't like about the hotel... There were no elevators so that i had to climb up the stars with heavy bags.

Ideal location not far from Hyde Park. Paddington Station a 5min walk. The staff were friendly, breakfast (english as well as continental) was really good. I had a room on the top floor, so after a day walking around in London it was bit hard climbing up the 4 floors but for the rest everything was ok. Room small, but big enough for somebody on their own.

We were very happy with the location of the hotel. Both for travelling within the city and also arriving and departing from London the closeness of the two tube stations becomes very handy. The reception staff was very friendly and helpfull whenever needed.

I enjoyed my stay here at the Europa House Hotel. Having read reviews about room sizes in London I wasn't expecting much, but the room was sufficient and hot water in shower was perfect! Room also had a television. The included (full English or continental) breakfast was awesome and a nice addition. Staff were friendly and accomodating. My only complaint would have been that the walls are pretty thin (the person in the room next to me snored), otherwise a good value stay. Recommended for people looking for a basic clean room and a place to stay close to the London city.

Convenient for Paddington station (less than 5 mins walk). Oldish building without lift; top floor a bit of a trek up narrow stairs. Twin room and en-suite very small, but fine for just a couple of nights. Nice, full english breakfast included, served in clean and tidy kitchen area.

I stayed with my girlfriend for two nights, after reading some reviews. I must say I was disappointed. The staff was impolite and did not make us feel welcome. The bathroom had no toiletries apart from soap and paper and was rather dirty. The room, as well as the rest of the hotel, was in dire need of being freshened up. The breakfast was very average. Beware also of a 5% surcharge when paying with credit card, which is not notified at the time of booking. On the way out, after checking out, I asked whether I could leave an empty shopping bag to be thrown to the rubbish and was told to take it with me and bin it by Paddington station!!

Reasonable price, bathroom usual miniscule size for the area, forgot to take my own sink plug, my mistake. Breakfast good and included in price. If you want cheap and expect what you pay for, then this place is fine for being within a couple of minutes of Paddington.

We stayed 3 nights. Twice the breakfast was delayed! The staff didn´t arrive..? On departureday we had to leave without breakfast - due to our schedule we couldn´t wait any longer for staff to arrive. Unreliable and unacceptable bad service. Next time in London we´ll just stay in one off the many other hotels i the same area.

Considering the price this is a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful. Prime location - Oxford Street is only a 10-15 minutes walk away. The room I stayed in was basic though equipped with a flatscreen tv with loads of channels. Keeping in mind the price and the star-rating, I can't complain at all and would use this hotel again when going to London.

In general the hotel is fine. The mattresses need to be changed soon because they are not comfortable anymore. There is a liking in the bathroom. The breakfast is excellent and the service too. Friendly and kind staff, specially the lady who prepared our breakfast. Excellent location. Thanks

The room was fair sized compared to others for a family of four in Paddington.Very basic amenities but the location is only two blocks from Paddington Station.

We stayed in room 12 at the top (5 flights). The stairway approach was tired & we feared the worst but once inside the room was a good size for a family (2A, 2C), although the shower room was small. The mattrasses were new & the linen clean but the carpet could do with changing. The dining room in the basement had just been refurbished. All the staff were helpful & pleasant. Good location 5 min from Paddington Station 10 from Hyde Park. Sussex Gardens is lively at night & noisy compared to where we live.
