We had an all around great stay at EuroPark. The location was excellent, the staff went above and beyond. The ONLY reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was because of how loud our floor was. There was a door, that was in need of a device to slow it's shutting, that slammed every morning starting at 7am because of the workers coming in and out. We were on the 8th floor, across from the terrace, and while this was OK in the winter, I would recommend not staying on that floor during the summer. It would get rather loud up there. All in all, if you choose to stay here, you will have a great time in Barcelona.
The only down side to this hotel is the price for the breakfast 10-14 euros. The hotel is on a busy street, we asked for and got rooms at the back of the hotel which were perfect.
the hotel is clean, modern and priced well if you get a deal. I was traveling solo and wish I would have been somewhere that I could have walked to bars and restaurants at night, like in las ramblas. depending on your situation it could be great, room was small, but cozy. most of the staff spoke English. very nice place, but for me not the right location.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We asked for a quiet room on the backside since it was our honeymoon and the Hotel provided that
We were really impressed with this hotel. Very funky with a black & white stripe theme everywhere. Room was spacious, especially by European standards, bathroom was excellent. Although not right in the centre of town, it's an easy walk to almost everything you would want to see and some great restaurants nearby. Excellent value.
I have now stayed twice at this hotel, and rate it very highly. Although check-in time was 2pm, I arrived several hours early, and the concierge arranged for me to gain access to the room quickly. This was a great help, as I had a full business programme that day. I like the location, close to Girona metro station, and proximity to some decent restaurants, the Mercadona supermarket, the market, and quality food shops. I would especially like to commend Jesus, the maitre d' who looked after me very well at breakfast. And the breakfasts are first class! I would be very happy to stay at Europark when I'm next in Barcelona.
The hotel rooms are very comfortable and well decorated, but rather dark. If you want a room with a view and light, then you have to put up with a lot of noise from the street at all hours. Thus, it's better to have a room facing, albeit almost reaching distance to another building at the back. The rooms have exceptionally large and modern bathrooms.
We spent two days in Barcelona at the Europark and found it to be an excellent location slightly out of the main drag, which was good, albeit on a very busy street but with sufficient sound-proofing. The room was fairly small but adequate, clean and nicely furnished. The concierge at the time of our stay was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant (La Rita) and places to visit. Would definitely return.
At our booking we asked for a silent room, because the hotel is situated at a high frequented mainstreet. Our room was on the ground floor (001), on the backside of the hotel. We didn´t hear the street, but the kitchen was right above us and they started to work at 6 in the morning. Also we heard the noise of the underground-railway. So the room was not that silent at all. (And by the way, the rooms in black and white are very stylish, but with this black walls, we felt like in a grave.) The hotel offers a breakfast buffet for all nations, so everybody would find something. But the service in the breakfast room is loud and they just do their job, but nothing more. If we would return to Barcelona, (and we will), we will stay in an other hotel.
I made a late five-night booking during one of the world's biggest trade shows when hotels in Barcelona ramp up their prices. I usually stay at another hotel at this time of year, but it was unavailable this year. I was very lucky to get the last room at the Europark - good location close to the metro and only three stops from El Born. Excellent room, great breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.
Breakfast was overpriced, buffet style breakfast with tea and coffee for €27 for two people! Some of the desk staff were a bit surly, but overall the hotel is well located and clean and well designed.
I was extremely happy with our short stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was taken in a good-sized restaurant, with ample and quality food. The double room size was satisfactory; the single room for my travelling companion on the small side. Both bathrooms were excellent. Computers were available within the hotel. Once you have your bearings the Girona metro station is very close to the hotel but it is a good 20 minute walk to the hotel from the Placa de Catalunya, your dropping-off point if you arrive in the City from the airport by Aerobus. So think twice before attempting the walk with heavy baggage. I shall definitely return to this hotel when we next visit Barcelona.
Value for money, great location and all the necessary facilities are at your disposal - a comfortable stay.
Very nice and spacious bathroom. No complaints about cleanliness or friendliness.
Very clean good facilities. We really enjoyed our short stay there.
Staff were very friendly and most helpful. The location was good as it was just five minutes walking to the main shopping area and main attractions yet in a quiet area itself.
The location was great the staff was good and the hotel also had free internet access, which is always helpful when traveling to a new city.
Good clean hotel, well located, reasonably priced.
Excellent location Comfortable Very small lifts! Generally good value
A great hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and informative.
