"Excellent hotel in great location. My only comment is that I did not feel that the staff in reception were particularly helpful - one example - I wanted to know how to get to the airport - take the bus or the metro was the reply. I would have been nice if they could have taken a map and shown me which metro station. It turns out that one has to take the RENFE and one can't go into the closest passeig de gracia station. They should have told me specifically. I was leaving before breakfast was served at 7am and mentioned this to the receptionist - it would have been nice for them to have organised a packed breakfast which was included in the price of the room not an extra.
