The area has an excellent transportation network, and a ride to the airport or main railway station takes only about 10 minutes. There are a subway station and bus stops very close by, and the hotel is also an excellent starting point for visits to the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral and the Picasso Museum, as well as the centrally-located shopping districts of Plaça Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia

We stayed for one night prior to boarding our Cruise at the adjacent Port. When we checked in, we found that our room's air conditioning did not work. I went downstairs and spoke face-to-face with the gentleman who had checked us in about he problem. Two and a half hours later, nothing had been done. At this point my wife and I proceeded to go out for dinner. As we walked through the lobby, once again I spoke face-to-face with the same gentleman and advised him we still had no air conditioning. I stated to him that if it was not rectified by the time we returned, I would expect to be relocated to another room. When we returned, he was no where to be found. His replacement, a young woman, listened to my story and Immediately reassigned us to an upgraded room with full service. Although the situation was rectified, we should never have had to deal with this delay and inconvenience, therefore I can only rate this Property as "Good" overall.
Overall, this is a lovely hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. It is within easy walking distance of a modern mall and La Rambla - a main street with shops and eateries. The room was roomy and comfortable, the beds clean, and the balcony, with a panoramic view of the city and the harbor, was a great bonus. There was a problem with hot water which was fixed in a timely manner. The concierge, although he tried hard, was not the least bit helpful. The best part was ending the day in the lounge with amazing coffee and croissants to die for.
This hotel offers all the best that Barcelona offers, great service, great views and personal service.
Excellent location and attentive staff. Hotel was good but I felt very impersonal. We had a superior room with a view which again was nice but not in my opinion 5 star! No coffee making facilities available and no tourist information on Barcelona. I felt this was very much a 'transit' hotel.
This is a really nice hotel, and the rate we got was excellent for the hotel standard too. It is a little way off the end of the Ramblas, say 5 to 10 minutes walk, but the city tour buses stop right outside, and to be honest I enjoyed the walk. My only criticism would be that breakfast is expensive at 24 Euro plus tax each (we are a family of four), so we didn't bother with it and had breakfast out every day. Unless money is no object or you get an inclusive deal, I'd recommend you do the same. Overall, I would defintely recommend this hotel.

Why not equip the pool bar a bit more professionally? Why not serve food on the roof terras from where the view is stunningly beautiful?
Beautiful hotel with great views. Staff very friendly. 10 minute walk from las ramblas and marina even though it looks closer, felt a little bit out of it, after walking around the harbour we wished there was a bridge over to the hotel.

The Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel Barcelona is really a fabulous hotel, located at the end of the "Ramblas", close to the "Rambla di Mare". I've been in this here both for business as fro pleasure. I can, and did, really recommend this hotel.
Our room was directly adjacent to the dock where 2 huge cruise liners were mored, not only did this completely block any view, the noise from the engines and tanoy systems was dreadful. The beds were very hard and when we complained were told a mattress topper would be provided, but this never happened. There was very poor lighting in the bathroom.
