Eurostars Hotel Toledo

Location is OK for business travellers, poor for tourists. This should be highlighted in the [website] description..

One has to walk 5+ minutes before reaching the bus, which deliveres you in the middle of the old town

The hotel is located outside the old town of Toledo, approx 30 minutes walk. It is a new hotel with internet access, well equipped with good beds. The service was ok, but nobody at the reception could speak anything else than Spanish, odd for a 4 stars hotel. But everybody was welcoming you, and the hotel is for sure a place I could like to return to.

We had one dinner and two breakfasts during our stay. The meals were all very good: the staff friendly and helpful. There was a 400 metre walk to the bus stop for town (more difficult coming back as uphill). We loved Toledo, but not easy to find one's way around. Probably could have done with an exxtra day.

Situated in part of the new town, but the old center can be easily reached by bus. Busstop 5 minutes walk fron the hotel an at the other end in the middle of the old town

a very good hotel, reasonable price but far from the centre. ten minutes walk to the bus. a very good bargain considering the price .

The hotel is still quite new and very modern and stylish. It was impeccably clean. The outside needs landscaping; I was surprised to hear that the hotel had been open for 4 years and the landscaping had not been done. The swimming pool promised on the website was not operational. The staff were lukewarm in their attitude. The hotel itself is a moderate distance from the old city, a bit far for a walk. W Linden, Vancouver, Canada

Good hotel , 10 minutes walk from the city gates. Main drawbacks were there was no bar or tea/coffee facilities at all (mini bar in room but no hot drinks), the pool and pool area was very small. The price was excellent for the quality of the room and we would stay there again

(1) Having left the hotel after breakfast the room had still not been made up at 3pm when we returned that same day. We needed to be in the room then before going to a wedding in the evening so we had to do without a make up for that day. (2) There is a lot of new building work taking place behind the hotel - not particularly noisy but not very beautiful to look out over. (3) The pricing was very competitive - maybe explaining points (1) & (2) above.

This is a very good new hotel with everything you need. We were very impressed. The only thing I would say is that it is a long walk from the main part of Toledo....the old city. The location of the hotel is NOTHING to write home about!!

The restaurant was closed for lunch. Overall, we felt it was ok (we would recommed the hotel anyway).

Nice clean modern hotel - taxi ride from the old town. Swimming pool not in service when I visited July 2005.

Nice clean big rooms with a great view of the city if you get the right rooms. The hotel is located off the city.

Breakfest excellent but dinner was slightly worse (overfried meat, sauces with no taste).

Brand new hotel, good service. Just opened 2 days before I arrived.

Great hotel at a very good price. The place is new, clean and very art deco (not to mention a great big bed for one person and a five star bathroom!). The staff are very helpful and friendly, certainly a breath of fresh air especially having travelled through Europe! Also, the food and the restaurant was just fantastic.
