Eurostars Laietana Palace Hotel Barcelona

Staff was very accommodating. Hotel was nice and the rooms were big, but the beds were very hard. The hotel is conveniently located in Barceloneta near the beach and near a metro stop, making it a conducive location from which to traverse the city.

When we arrived late in the evening our room had been lost even though we had paid for it in advance. The receptionist offered a room at the Hotel Eurostars Gaudi for 2 nights 2 kms from Laietana Palace. After that we came back to Laietana Palace for 2 nights. Because of this confusion we got the breakfasts and taxis for free. That was ok. -Room was not big but it was clean. Our room had a view onto the Roman wall. Beds were a little bit too hard. Some noise from outside in the nights. Breakfast was very good. Location excellent, close to Barri Gotic and El Born.

The hotel have a good location in the barri gotic. An overall average hotel, but the breakfast was bad.

Excellent location (5-10 mins from Ramblas), and very pleasant atmosphere. Recommended!

Very Very Friendly hotel. They went out of their way to help us. One small grievence was that room service was cancelled except for breakfast which could only be a continental even though the breakfast room service menu had a large choice. They should just change the menu and inform people of the room service up front. Else perfectly placed hotel for easy access to the city! and very Safe!!!

lovely hotel, very claen and great location. rooms slightly small, but have everything you need. buffet breakfast was great, with a great selection. would definitely stay again on a return trip!

The bathroom needs a better maintenance. Very quiet if you get a backside room. Very good location.

Loud noise coming from the AC, and thin walls between the room so you can hear when the people staying next door is talking. Nice view to the cathedral. Old hotel

I think this hotel is a little overpriced for the quality of rooms. Clean and neat, but very dull and spartan decor. I don't think I would stay there again.

Excellent location, right next to subway and bus stop. Just ten minutes walk to Ramblas and Pl Catalunya, ten minutes to the beach by bus. Clean rooms, can be noisy if facing Laietana, luckily ours didn't. Staff very friendly. Not the cheapest place but worth the money. Definitely recommended.

Bed was extreamly hard, difficultiest to sleep, too narrow pilow

Great location! Definately need to be in a room on a high level to the back of the hotel because it is extremely noisy. Rooms are a bit small yet cozy, although the beds are a little uncomfortable. On the whole, good hotel.

Took a couple of days to find our bearings but then realised just how central for everything Eurostars Laietana Palace Hotel is. It's round the corner from Placa de Juame, which is almost half-way to La Rambla, round the corner from the Cathedral, close to beach and Port Vell. Also, there is a bus stop outside and an underground across the street. Plenty of cafes and bars seconds away from door. Will definately be back.

the only disadvantage of this hotel is that it is oldfashioned in looks and furniture and general appearance!!!

Excellent location and facilities in hotel. Very clean and staff very helpful. Breakfast was very good; it included a hot and cold choice.

My daughter (15) and I stayed 3 nights in february, 2006. The people are very kind and helpful. The first night we had a room under the roof, the air conditioning was not working and because of safety reasons the windows could not be opened, so the room was hot We could change rooms and we got nice room with 2 balconies. The buffet-breakfast was nice! No restaurant, but hotel is near The Rambla and the Picasso museum in a safe, nice area. Only a few minutes with metro from Plaza Catalunya, shops/restaurants
