Park Hotel Maximillian was opened in 1891 in the so called New-Rococco style. Last complete renovated in 2007, this fine hotel is ideally located in the city centre of medieval Regensburg. Just a few metres from the main station and the major sightseeing attractions and major shopping areas. A total of 52 rooms are all equally equipped with private bath, cable TV, minibar, direct dial telephone, hair-dryer and radio. Convenient for business and leisure travellers.

Getting there:
Coming from Munich, Nuremberg or Hof Highway A93- EXIT Regensburg -Knigswiesen Direction"Centrum/Hauptbahnhof" (Main-station) turn left into the Maximilianstrasse as soon as you are in front of the main station after the second crossing, the driveway is on the left.

The hotel is conveniently close to both the railway station and the town centre. Although it faces a busy road, it is not too noisy. Breakfast is somewhat limited in choice, but otherwise nice. The rooms are really spacious, and though the furnishing is not too modern, it is not as run down as some reviewers suggested.

The hotel is well positioned and only a few minutes walk from the centre of historic Regensburg. The exterior of the hotel is very attractive and the rooms furnished in a fitting style. The reception area is pleasant, if slightly dated. Overall our stay represented value for money and we would certainly return.
