Getting there:Travel north on the Pacific Motorway and across the Riverside Expressway. Exit right onto Turbot Street. Turn left onto Herschel Street and then left onto North Quay. Turn Left onto Tank street. Evolution apartments is on the corner of Tank Street and North Quay, Brisbane.

It was okay. Just a pity our room was next to the parking area of the apartment. The air-conditioner didn't work properly so had to ring them to fix it. It would have been better if we had a better spot.
From our apartment, we can see a magnificent view of the Brisbane city and South Bank. Very nice. However, the apartment is quiet small.

Great location for walking to CBD and galleries and wonderful views. Some traffic noise in bedrooms because those windows are not double glazed. Pity about the rusty bins in the bathrooms in a building which is so new!
Great location to town and a nice stroll across bridge to the Westend and other attractions. We stayed on the 4th floor road side. A little noisy with traffic for our liking but it was only for one night so didnt matter too much.
Very centrally located for the traveller who wants an art experience at GOMA etc
Great location, walk to South Bank and also to all the city areas on north side. Unit was well equipped and modern such as large plasma TV and fridge. Great views up the river. Unit serviced daily was a bonus. Car parking was good value and parks always available. We highly recommend this apartment complex.
The apartments are well located in Brisbane's CBD. Short walk to Queen st mall, Casino, South Bank etc. We were on floor 23 and had a fantastic view of the river and Southbank. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms quite nice. A few stains on the white couches in the living room and on the carpets but otherwise all looked quite clean and well managed. Charged $10 for parking which I don't think is right, if you pay the price for a nights stay this should just be included but I guess that's the city for you.
We have enjoyed our brief stay at Evolution. Loved the one bedroom apartment which has everything you would need (even a tumble dryer!!) and very modern, spacious and stylish. Only one defect though was when we tried to checkout at 9:55 am (latest by 10:30 am) we waited for more than 15 mins and there was still no one there at the reception nor was anyone answering the phone. Eventually, we had to slip the room key behind the glass windows of the reception and go.
Lets start with the good bits- It has a great veiw up the river and the rest is all downhill. On the way to our room after check in we had to suffer in the heat as there is no airco in the lifts or foyers (apperently a green measure) then we felt around for the secret light switch for the foyer(apperently another green measure). When we did finally light up our way it revealed plenty of stains on the carpets. We then got inside our room to find more stained carpets and walls, dirty stains on the bed covers and lounge suits, Matresses that smelt like urine, rusted garbage bin in bathroom and rusted toilet brush well past use by date, a broken towel hook hanging off the wall. We decided to cook some food, thats when we found the broken exhaust fan hanging to one side. The place hasn't been open that long and the pool area already looks 10 years old. So if you are staying at this hotel Make the most of the view as this is the only highlite.

Spacious apartment, very clean, great views of the river, well located. Will stay there again.
We found the accommodation very comfortable, modern and clean. Its location was great with everything we needed within walking distance. Our only complaint was only having 2 lifts available which at times seemed slow but this was not a major inconvenience and very minor in scheme of the accommodation on a whole. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Brisbane.
We organised a last minute deal for a standard room and were surprised when staff placed in a larger apartment and with a good view
Fantastic location and great apartment! Would definitely return on our next visit to Brisbane. A little disapointed with the morning reception lady, very unpleasant. But over all loved it.
Excellent apartment, brilliant location, good facilities. Absolutely rubbish customer service. Oh, and the shower in the room we had on the 28th floor was the worst of any in any hotel I've ever stayed in. So bad, that we won't be staying here next time we're in Brisbane, which is a shame because the apartment itself was one of the nicest.
