"Very nice Get-a-Way for couples. Very Private and Very Relaxing. Grounds are Wonderful. Food was a bit disappointing. Breakfast and Lunch buffet were fine. Although dinner waitstaff was nice, the food was untasteful at 3 out of the 4 restuarants we ate. The Mexican restaurant was the only dinner we felt satisfactory. We did not have so much of an issue with the salads, appetizers or desserts, but the main courses were simply not very tasteful. If we had stayed longer than 4 days we would have left the resort for different dining options, even if we had to take and pay for the long cab ride and back to Cancun. For the rating of this hotel, it is hard to believe the dinner food is not held to a higher standard. The service and relaxation you experience at this resort far outweighed our disdain for the food. Wonderful place to hid out for a couple of days. I simply would not recommend an extended stay or a high expectation for food." - Anonymous
