Excellence Playa Mujeres Cancun All Inclusive Adults Only

We just celebrated our anniversary at the EPM few days ago. We loved the hotel! Location, entertainment, food - everything was great! When we were booking it they had a promo ( honeymoon special if you book more expensive room) so we went for it... definitely wouldn't do it again.. If you are thinking about staying in cheaper room - the upgrade is not worth it.

Amazing all-inclusive! So much good food to choose from. Staff were there to meet our every request. Fun entertainment team. Luxury at it's best!

This is a perfect getaway! Immaculate rooms and grounds. Excellent customer service. Extremely accomodating. Very relaxing, but there are activites if you want to partake. We will be back for sure! Take lot's of dollar bills to tip-housekeeping, waiters and tour guides. Of course, tipping is not required or expected...but they deserve it and you will want to. Wages are very, very low in Mexico and they work long hours. Everyone was very, very nice. I highly recommend this resort and I have traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels-inclusive and non-inclusive. Food is great. Some restaurants provide you with a wine menu when they give you the food menu. Of course, the "house" wine is no charge...you do not need to buy bottled wine. Be sure to tell them if you are celebrating an anniversary -nice surprise.

Excellence was a perfect name for this resort. Everything was beautiful and the staff was on it at every turn. I would return here without question.

Couldn't have planned or asked for a better honeymoon.

This hotel was surprisingly excellent for an all inclusive resort. I was expecting cheap food, cheap drinks, a satisfactory room but got much mroe for a great price. The staff was amazing! Make sure to tip them even though its all inclusive because they really try hard. The restaurants were great, ask around about which are the best. The booze was great, not just some terrible well drinks. The pools were awesome. You could be social or just lay back and enjoy the beach/pool area. You wount be dissapointed, seriously.

This was our 2nd time to this resort and we were not disappointed - everything was EXCELLENT. We have never received this consistent level of service anywhere else in the world, and we have stayed at some very elite hotels. The staff is simply remarkable in their attitudes and attention to detail. The resort itself is beautiful, immaculately landscaped, and inviting. There are 8 restaurants to choose from for dinners - no reservations, and no boring buffets. Room service is also included, and full of lovely options. Our favorite afternoon was room service pizzas that we took to the beach chairs and enjoyed with some wine! We loved morning yoga, beach volleyball, the live music around the swim-up bar in the afternoons, the open-air serve-yourself grill set up on the beach every day for lunch, and the 1001 Nights theme night complete w/ hookas. There were many other activities and theme nights that we didn't participate in - not for lack of interest, but simply because there was always so much to choose from, including just relaxing in our lounge chairs with Maria serving us on the beach! We didn't want to leave, and were planning our return trip before we left. We stayed in a swim-out room both times, the first time at Excellence Club and this time not - both were great. The only reason we didn't rate the room comfort as perfect was because of the bathroom doors - they are open air glass, and there's no wall between the bed and bath, so there is zero mystery left between partners when using the facilities...otherwise, the beds are comfortable, the large bed loungers on the patio are amazing, and the shower is comfortably large for 2 with a rainfall shower head. This place will ruin you for anywhere else...

This hotel is amazing, Rooms are beautiful, grounds are beautiful, staff is excellent. First time to Excellence Resort and we will be going back.

Overall this is a beautiful location and newly-built, spectacularly designed resort. The services on site are clearly defined, and easy to use... at times with other locations, "all-inclusive" is not really "all-inclusive", but Excellence Resorts definitely tells you what is and is not included. The value for your dollar at this resort is astounding... room service, amenities, and staff are all excellent. The restaurant wait staff tend to be inexperienced at one of the dining spots, but the poor experience there is so minimal it was a non-issue. Overall rate this five-stars. Great spot for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, anniversary or company event - Adults only... so call your babysitters and get ready to relax, or have a blast... or both (it's up to you).

We arrived a day before Hurricane Arlene, and the staff tried to make the experience as stress free as possible. After the Huriricane passed we had a excellent stay and cannot find anything bad to say about the resort. This was our third year and we will be returning next year.

The name of the resort says it all Excellente. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything was wonderful. The staff in every part of the resort were helpful & seemed to truly enjoy their job. We can't wait to return to Excellent Playa Mujeres.

Although the weather did not cooperate the staff really tried to make our trip worth it. I wish we could go back right away.

This was our second time at the Excellence Playa Mujeres. Was a bit concerned that things would have fallen off since the last visit, but we were not disappointed. The rooms, restaurants, and facilities are top notch. The staff are all very courteous and helpful.

Everything about this hotel is realy good. It is worth every single penny.

This is our second stay at an Excellence Resort. Last year we went to Excellence Punta Cana and liked it so much that we thought we'd try Excellence Playa Mujeres. The rooms here in Cancun were beautiful! We were in 8201 and we overlooked one of the pools. We did the 2 person parasail which was ok; went to Chitchen Itza - ride was long but the ruins were very cool; and we did the oceanrunners (2-1/2 hours waverunners/snorkeling) which was a LOT of fun. The food was great (we especially liked Spice and Chez Isabelle), and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure you were taken care of. The only fault we found with the resort was that they didn't do as many activities around the pool as they did in Punta Cana. When we asked about it, we were told that this resort was more about relaxing, (which we did). We had a great time and met a lot of wonderful people! We really enjoy Excellence and next year we plan on trying Excellence Oyster Bay!

This was truly a fabulous vacation. The Hotel name 'Excellence' speaks for the service, amenities, food etc.

This was our second year at this hotel and we have decided that this is the only place we want to stay when visiting Cancun. It is very safe. I called and asked if we could have the same room as we had the year before, and they did it without any hesitations. We met several couples there this year that this was their second or third time at this resort. Everything we asked for, we got. While it doesn't have the clearest blue water like downtown Cancun, this is the place to go for pure relaxation! I can't wait to go back again!

We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon and were extremely happy with the accommodations. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our hotel suite was spacious and clean. The food was great, especially the breakfast and lunch buffet that was served at Toscano each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved everything about this place!
