Getting there:To get to the Hotel from the airport, is very easy. As soon as you get to the Federal Highway, turn to the right (we are south Cancun) and drive about 15min. You will pass a gas station on your right and a big sing of "Bahia Petempich" on your left, then you are few minutes away. Look for a green sing that says "Excellence Riviera" and then on your left you'll see a crocodile zoo named CROCOCUN, next to that is the road to Excellence Riviera. Keep driving and about 1 mille ahead you'll see the return on your left. When you get to the zoo again turns to your right. The Excellence Riviera is located at the end of this road.

This was our 2nd stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun- It was just fabulous! We thought it couldn't get any better from last year and it did. They added lunch on the beach daily as well as some new entertainment....The only teeny tiny thing for us would be the beds, for as great as everything is we thought the beds were not comfortable at all. However, with a few blankets we were good to go! the food, staff, entertainment, beach, pool area were all top notch! Looking forward to year #3!

My husband and I celebrated our 11th Wedding Anniversary at Excellence Riviera Cancun. This is a perfect romantic adult only resort. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The food was good...what I expected from an all inclusive resort. Staff was exceptional and everyone had a smile on their face. Location of the hotel is close to the airport which is a positive. Most definitely will go back.
something to do every evening,live music and shows,very attentive staff,not too far from cancun or playa del carman for shopping,room s cleaned twice a day,would go back,liked this resort a lot more than el dorado royale,better food ,better service,
The excellence staff was incredible. Prior to arriving I worked with concierge through email and they helped us with our airport to hotel transportation. Along with arranging for a birthday cake and room decorations for my friends 45th. Checkin was speedy and no discussion of timeshare presentations, which was wonderful. They give you a pager to let you know when your room is ready. My friends and I loved the martini bar, XO lounge at night and the waiter service at our swim up room pool.
