The Excelsior Grand Hotel Malta is situated adjacent to the magnificent sixteenth century bastions of Valletta, the Maltese capital, a UNESCO World Heritage City.
A couple of minutes on foot bring you to the gates of Valletta, a city brimming with culture, noble architecture and priceless art.
The Hotel provides stunning views of Marsamxett Harbour and Manoel Island from its location by the edge of the sea. Its central position allows for easy travel to all parts of the islands.
Malta is probably unique in the world for the breadth of its history and ancient structures over the millennia, all of which can be found within a few square kilometres.
We are pleased to advise that the hotel is now in a soft opening phase. Works are still ongoing during the daytime and are projected to be finalised by the end of March 2008. In the meantime, the following outlets and facilities are in operation :
The Admiral’s Landing Restaurant, The Harbour View Bar, The Chartroom Bar, 06 Syndicate Rooms, The Main Pool, The Indoor Pool and Jacuzzi (Heating not in operation as yet), The Gymnasium. This list will be updated as further facilities and outlets are opened.

| Getting there: |
From the airport, go straight across the roundabout, following signs for Valletta. Turn right at the second roundabout and left at the third. At the end of the hill, turn left and then right into the main road. Drive north towards Valletta, passing Portes des Bombes, towards Floriana and then towards Marsamxett Harbour. Our Hotel is on the left hand side.
Taxi service from the airport can be arranged at approximately MTL 7 (Euro 17) and the distance is 7km with a driving time of 20 minutes. Driving in Malta is on the left.
