"Whilst on the surface, the location of the hotel may not look appealing, when you walk around the district and discover the local cafe bars and shops, the locality to the Sacre Coeur and the metro, you will find it is an excellent base for a break in Paris, whether it be a pleasant evening walk or to venture further afield using the metro system. The staff were very helpful, the room a little basic but all the bits worked and you do not need to spend much time there. The Continental breakfast was good - served by an ever cheerful waitress, and if that was not to your liking then there are numerous cafe bars in the area. We never had any trouble finding somewhere cheap. As an economical base to enjoy the city I can recommend this hotel." - andrew gibson
