I stayed at the Exposition Hotel Paris for 13 nights and I was in a single room with balcony on the 6th floor. I had a beautiful view of the Sacre Coeur which was stunning. The room was quite small but adequate and it was very comfortable and clean. There was never a shortage of hot water when showering and the size of the bathroom was good. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English.
The room was tiny and quite claustrophobic but I guess this is to be expected for this price range in Paris. The room was very clean though. There was no air conditioning and the only window opened onto a passage with hot air blowing up. This was a problem at this time of the year and made it very difficult to sleep at night.
Single room with shower, Toilets, TV, phone ...
Double room with shower, toilets, tv, phone ...

Triple room with bath room, toilets, tv, phone ...
Quadruple room with shower, toilets, tv, phone ...
The room was small but acceptable. The hallways did smell a little old and musty but not the rooms. The area was good as there was a supermarket nearby and McDonalds to get a morning tea and coffee. The front desk staff were helpful and informative.
Our small family of three really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff very helpful. The location was good and once we got the hang of the Metro it was very convenient. I would be more than happy to stay there again upon return.
Nice hotel, beautiful walk to Le Marais neighborhood and very close to metro stations. Very kind staff and tidy hotel. Room was a bit small, but sound-tight: no sound from the (busy) street out front. Sound from other guests were audible, though. Great price for the location.
Stayed in this hotel last week with my two teenage children. Clean but basic. Fresh towels every day, beds made and bathroom cleaned daily too. Staff friendly and helpful. Good variety of restaurants, cafes etc in the area. Metro stops just a couple of minutes walk. Supermarkets and chemist and McDonalds nearby too for anyone with fussy kids! CNN and music channel on tv for those missing English language. All in all, I would return. Good value.
good location
The hotel was clean and close to two metro stations, which was handy. There was a good selection of food around us, and was also close to two main train stations. Felt safe enough at night!
Good location and staff speak English
I really rate this hotel, it was great value for money, an easy location close to metro and one of the best metro lines and the staff were fantastic, they couldnt have been more helpful!
Excellent location!
The only thing that might be a concern for people was the size of the bathroom/shower, it was very narrow and therefore might be unsuitable for a larger (overweight) person. Apart from that I cannot fault the hotel location/price/friendly staff.
I loved this hotel when I stayed here. I had a great room at the top with a small balcony with views. It is a little out of the main area but everything is within a short walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite my lack of French. I'd definitely go back to this hotel.
I took my little brother to Paris for a couple of days, so was looking for a hotel with decent facilities that was central and good value. I felt Hotel Exposition was fab. Our room didn't have a view by any means, but we were in Paris to see the sights, so the room was just a base and a place to sleep. I found the staff really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bathroom was very clean, looked like it had been done up recently which was nice, not a great fan of grotty bathrooms! I think the only slight gripe I had was the room we were in had obviously been smoked in previously, so although one gets used to the smell of stale smoke, and it wasn't unbearable, it wasn't optimum. I don't remember if I had the option to book a non-smoking room or not, but if that bothers you, I would enquire to make sure.
Great hotel, great location, friendly staff! Spent a fabulous week here. Definitely stay again.
Nice location, very convenient
Excellent hotel in a great spot in Paris. We had a lovely room with a view overlooking the Place de la Republique. Would definitely stay again when in Paris!
I stayed there second time already and will definitely book this hotel in the future.
not enough towels and shampoo in the room
I like to walk a bit, so this hotel was very handy to Metro, train and even the double decker Red Bus tour of Central Paris. Handy elevator but a bit tight on the spiral staircase. Bath/shower and maid service quite good. Desk clerks were cordial and helpful -- where to find this and that; however, one miscue to report: I wanted to add one more night to our (internet) stay and got a verbal confirmation. Unfortunately, this didn't get set on the full scheduler. A bumpy go for a bit, then. All is well, tho.
