Nestled in 2 acres of beautiful gardens, our charming country house hotel is a place of peace and tranquillity.

Enjoy afternoon tea on the patio, taking in the superb views of the valleys below. Later, unwind with a drink by the roaring log fire of the lounge. Prepare yourself for a few eccentricities; an English country house is not complete without them.

New owners Adam and Carrie Southwell and their team strive to create the perfect relaxed atmosphere with friendly and efficient service. Our restaurant has an AA Rosette for the high standard and quality of the food, making it some of the very best in the area.

The 4-course table d'hôte evening dinner is bookable at an additional cost.

Getting there:

From Axminster, take the A35 towards Dorchester. At Raymonds Hill take the B3165 to Crewkeme. About 2 miles down we will be signposted on the left. Take this turning and we are about a mile down on the left.

Check in after 2:30pm, please report to reception.
