Nestled in 2 acres of beautiful gardens, our charming country house hotel is a place of peace and tranquillity. Enjoy afternoon tea on the patio, taking in the superb views of the valleys below. Later, unwind with a drink by the roaring log fire of the lounge. Prepare yourself for a few eccentricities; an English country house is not complete without them. New owners Adam and Carrie Southwell and their team strive to create the perfect relaxed atmosphere with friendly and efficient service. Our restaurant has an AA Rosette for the high standard and quality of the food, making it some of the very best in the area. The 4-course table d'hôte evening dinner is bookable at an additional cost. Rooms: 16.

Getting there:
From Axminster, take the A35 towards Dorchester. At Raymonds Hill take the B3165 to Crewkeme. About 2 miles down we will be signposted on the left. Take this turning and we are about a mile down on the left.

Check-in Procedure:
Check in after 2:30pm, please report to reception.

Car parking:
Free parking available at the hotel.

Child Policy:
Child aged 0-5 stays free when sharing the existing bedding with paying adults. Any child over the age of 12 is classed as an adult and therefore is required to pay the full amount.

We only stayed for one night but the view in the morning for breakfast was amazing. The place is very nice and clean and the people are very friendly, we really enjoyed our stay. Facilities within our room were basic but met all our needs.

The hotel had just re-opened with a new owner so was a little quiet but the owner and staff were very friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere that of a dinner party in a private country house. There were beautiful grounds and views from the windows. We enjoyed it and would certainly stay there again.
